To be fair though - Fury will have a sizeable size advantage over Joshua. But Joshua would be a MUCH easier night for Fury than Usyk. Because Joshua is not used to being smaller guy and 2 stone in weight, 4 inches in height is quite significant. Usyk has been and knows how to fight as the smaller guy and one of the last two times Fury has fought someone very used to being the smaller guy, he had a struggle (Steve Cunningham).

Fury is bigger AND better than AJ. Of course Usyk is better than Fury, but not by much. Not enough to counter 2/3 weight divs anyway.

I've bolded the part I disagree with and "how much" is up in the air with two undefeated fighters. I think though Usyk has beaten better fighters P4P. Wilder is crap and Klitchscko, well that was just such an odd occasion and irrespective that was a razor tight fight.

Fury has still only fought 2 half decent opponents and I think we could seriously question the boxing ability of Wilder - An absolutely ancient Oritz was outboxing WIlder and both of his 2 half decent opponents they enjoy fighting as as the "big"guy - not used to being outsized. So Fury could essentially bully them. Usyk has dealt with being the smaller guy on a few occasions now. At first I wasn't sure if he could cope with being the smaller guy, but obviously last time he showed he can - and that could be telling.

I genuinely STILL don't know how good Fury is cos the Heavyweight division is crap - Usyk is the only one with a decent skill set and boxing IQ.

Mick - appols. I didn't mean it as the insult you've taken it as. I only meant to emphasize that you typically seem to fight the corner of any boxer with Traveller connection despite obvious flaws.

Ultimately; let us hope that Tyson's bad lifestyle allows him to get another 2 years in the sport; and of course - hope he can regain his focus too, because at the moment it seems far more focused on his celebrity than his boxing.

Most of the kids there were, including Hopey Price so I got to know them through supporting the club. If you watch amateur boxing, the majority of kids are traveller boys, especially up here, or Asian. I don't have to even explain myself. I like Harris Akbar, Hamed Ghiaz, Ismail Khan. I knew Naz as a young teenager from the circuit. I've been to loads of Amir fights. Nobody ever calls me out on that. If you go to a lot of gyms in West Yorkshire, they're multicultural. I don't understand why it upsets everyone. I know Brook personally, shoot me now!

Hmm. Usyk is a much better boxer than AJ but then Fury didn't even get out of second gear against Wlad, who as an old man almost stopped a peak destroyer AJ, and in his prime would have destroyed Joshua. Fury confused the f out of Wlad and didn't even look like being drawn into a fight against the best boxer in the division since Lewis. He's got gears; he can box, he can fight, he can be down on the canvas and still brutalise his way to a win.

I'm a big fan of Fury but he's a clearly on the beer kebabs and cocaine diet right now and probably has been since before Wilder 3. He looks in decline. He can beat Whyte, Usyk and AJ and then retire forever and do as much sniffing and boozing as he likes knowing he'll be in discussion for the best ever. But he can't seem to see even a year out before falling into old habits.

It would be such a shame to come back from the brink like he did and then go back and throw yourself over. But I'm very worried he's going to do it.

Right now I'm picking Usyk, and maybe even maybe Whyte for the upset.

I would argue that Tyson is too. For one of the least skilled HW champions in history to be able to put you down 4 times in fewer than 30 rounds is not a ringing endorsement of your Ali-esque technical prowess.

If Cunningham can put him down, Usyk definitely can, a few times. The shots you don't see etc...
