I know Mick confirmed what a lot of people suspected; that he was on the wind-up or on the beer when he was making the ridiculous comments of Fury's imagined attributes .. copying that now is very unoriginal and basically trolling.
But he has got a remarkable chin. Larry Holmes went down like Tyson but only gets praise for his recupertive powers. He can box in either stance and front or back foot. Every single boxer he has fought or sparred say you can't prepare for him because he can do everything. Are they all winding you up?

The casuals may claim Fury could have held his own against any heavyweight in history - those who have access to YouTube know very differently.
There's no denying how bad Fury is by watching back any of the Wilder fights; I can't imagine any top 10 ATG heavyweight not getting Wilder out of there a lot sooner than Fury did .. the 2nd and 3rd fights only emphasises how poor Fury is.

Define a good chin? He recovered almost immediately like all of his many knockdowns. Being put down a lot doesn’t make you chinny. Being knocked out and on Queer Street often does.
Tyson didn’t get put down by a bad chin; he got put down being complacent and very open. Luckily for him he has a tremendous chin so got away with all those flush overhand fights.

His record just isn't going to stand up when we look back long after his retirement, unless of course he deals with Whyte, Joshua, Usyk, Joyce, Dubois and Hrgovic etc
The win over Chisora is under under rated in my opinion, but Chisora didn't show up for the second fight (typical Chisora)
Klit and Wilder are stellar wins, especially the Klit win. He rolled the dice with the first wilder fight and hit the jackpot, but Wilder outside of his right hand is diabolical. Most people agree with this.
Plus he's a drug cheat

As said - no top 10 ATG heavyweight would have taken that long to get rid of Wilder after the 4th; he was shot to bits.
That result distracts from the performance. If thats the best Fury then it highlights how poor he is - and emphasises how terrible todays heavyweight boxing is.
Often boxers achieve a higher ATG ranking once they are gone - Fury will receive the opposite.
Only the most bias and clueless - or someone on the wind-up - would suggest anything different.

If that’s true then that bypassed me tbh. I thought was just Coke? If something more severe then that hinders his legacy for sure but doesn’t take away from his talent; he’s one of the best heavies to have ever lived.

With regards to Fury-McDermott I agree with mickey1975...Fury performed superbly in gutting out both wins.
They were both crucial to his development and rise. I had extremely high hopes for Tyson after those wins.
For me, Fury won the first fight fair & square, but not by 98-92. And showed tremendous will power in the rematch to outlast a seasoned British title contender.
Fury had no business contesting a 10 rounder at that stage of his career and McDermott held a huge advantage in experience but was beaten on both occasions by sheer determination.

In the second fight, when he felt the pace after four or five rounds, he used his size to lean on and old man John like a veteran. He was 21.
