stevenson is something......maybe will be the mayweather of his generation , the skills are ridiculous and he doesnt even need to move beyond the basics to school these guys. give him a jab, straight left, and a bit of movement, and he'll fluxmox these dudes

Domination from Stevenson there, 119-108 on my card, Valdez is tough as fck, never stopped trying and had a bit of success with the right hand but he was well and truly beat up, couldn't believe the size difference, Stevenson looked massive and Valdez couldn't really get near him, Stevenson kept him at bay with the jab, held it out there too long at times and along with the repeated low blows should've had a point off but still his quality was there to see, dropped Valdez in the 6th after walking him on to a right hook, Valdez stumbled into the ropes when another right sent him down
Stevenson done as he pleased and toyed with Valdez, jabbed him and nailed him continuously with left hands and punished the body, he could've got him out of there if he tried but he was happy enough to dish out a sustained beating, very impressive

Stevenson should have got him
Out of there, he couldn’t. Valdez should have engaged more and thrown down instead of bang the gloves together behind a high guard and look the part of a warrior instead of play it.
Forgettable fight.
Tank Davis would ice both. Hope the fight is made

Awful fight for me. The moment they stood to touch gloves it looked like Stevenson was 2 weight divisions bigger. Pointless fight in the end.

At the press conference after Shak hears his mum getting into a fight in the crowd, drops his belts and the mic!and rushes over to join in. His outside the ring shenanigans are more exciting than his fights.

That’s some performance from Shakur. He will be be at lightweight next and he will go from there.
You find that performance sub par you aren’t a boxing fan.

Already a 2 weight world champion.
I don’t really hold his first reign highly.
Just won the vacant belt and didn’t defend it did he?
A cherry pick belt, however since moving up.
Lightweight makes him 3 weight.
He’ll be at WW on 3-4 years time maybe.
He’s still a young kid.

Very talented fighter Shakur, made easy work of Valdez. Looks more than ready to head up to lightweight and mix it in one of the more exciting weight classes in boxing currently.

Yeah, watching Stevenson at LW gotta be interesting. There's good competition there. Actually, he can go directly for the Kambosos-Haney winner, it'll be a quality fight.

I think the absolute most you could give Valdez was 3 rounds.
Absolute maximum.
There is no case for anymore than 3 rounds.
They were probably swing rounds, because a lot of people had it a 12-0 shutout.
