Re: Canelo want usyk!

Usyk would probably re-hydrate to 220 after weighing in at 201.
do you think canelo would beat usyk? what about canelo vs aj or wilder? would he do it by walking them down or turning into a hit and runner?
what do you think of canelo vs other heavyweights, like aj and wilderapollo creed wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 03:40 36-37 y/o Usyk coming down to 201 lbs with a rehydration clause of 10 lbs would have a hard time vs a version of Canelo that could unify 175 division and then maybe beat Makabu.
@ 201 lbs with a 10 lbs rehydration clause ? Canelo walks them down. Could you imagine AJ and Wilder at 201 lbs with only a 10 lbs rehydration weight limit? Their stamina would evaporate fast after 6-7 rounds.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 03:41what do you think of canelo vs other heavyweights, like aj and wilderapollo creed wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 03:40 36-37 y/o Usyk coming down to 201 lbs with a rehydration clause of 10 lbs would have a hard time vs a version of Canelo that could unify 175 division and then maybe beat Makabu.

no , just in general, no weight clause. they may not be at their best and canelo's on fire
He isn’t beating any heavyweights but he has the right style to hang with Usyk for a few rounds.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 00:57do you think canelo would beat usyk? what about canelo vs aj or wilder? would he do it by walking them down or turning into a hit and runner?
speaking of styles, i think usyk's is one that canelo has the most issues with, aside from usyk being 7 inches taller, having a way longer reach, and being much bigger. canelo was practically even with 37 year old kov's pawing and moving for 11 rounds in his 1 lhw fight, now some dudes picking him over usyk
usually the next step after beating a guy like kov is something like, can he beat the bert-smith winner to unify, not well he's gonna beat the top heavys and become hw champ of the world. like i said, canelos a stud, but some dudes turning him into a super hero or something
Why you picking on Supernelo????margaret thatcher wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 00:57do you think canelo would beat usyk? what about canelo vs aj or wilder? would he do it by walking them down or turning into a hit and runner?

Marvel is already to add him to the Avengers.
Supernelo will be taking on all the suee villains single handily when the rest of the Avengers get their butts kicked.
Stan Lee would be proud
No doubt Canelo is an awesome athlete. But he is not invincible.Bandog wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 11:35tiny_acres wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 10:25Why you picking on Supernelo????margaret thatcher wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 00:57

It seems to me that Canelo is finally coming close to what MannyPac did for years - fight good competition at his walking around weight. Canelo has been a weight bully this long? When he wins at 185-190, he'll finally reach Pac's status. Floyd also fought near his normal weight. Very few do.
He's as close to invincible when it goes to the cards though!tiny_acres wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 11:38No doubt Canelo is an awesome athlete. But he is not invincible.Bandog wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 11:35tiny_acres wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 10:25

If that bear has his claws and his mouth wrapped up, then I'd pick Canelo to stop him.

sorrry, pal... couldn't resist.caldo2025 wrote: ↑05 May 2022, 21:51I’m sorry to break it to ya Pal but Canelo's going to tear Bivol up. I know it may seem silly of me to say but Bivol’s never been in the same room with a body snatcher of this magnitude. 10 or 11 rounds of feints to the liver will guarantee that if Bivol hears that final bell, it won’t be after he’s earned the new nickname Huggy Bear.adislav123 wrote: ↑05 May 2022, 18:15 let's wait another 48 hours and let's see then if anybody still thinks it would be a great idea for canelo to step into the ring with usyk.
i could be wrong but i doubt that after saturday nobody with half a brain cell left will ever suggest a canelo/usyk fight would make any sense, for canelo at least.
I’ve never been more sure of an outcome than this. Canelo absolutely demolished Bivol and it will be some time, if ever, we hear of Bivol again in the sport of Boxing headlines.
Hot take... Huggy bear was really hugging Canelos face with his fists... That's how hugs work right?caldo2025 wrote: ↑05 May 2022, 21:51I’m sorry to break it to ya Pal but Canelo's going to tear Bivol up.
