Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith - 17 December 2022?
Eubank’s a man in demand now. Both Sky and DAZN will be going for his next fight. I’d imagine Matchroom are pushing for Cash whilst Sky will be going for Smith. No way Cash/Eubank is ppv. Would Sky do Eubank/Smith as PPV though?!

Taylor/Catterall and Eubank/Smith as a joint PPV at the Manchester Arena would be superb.

PPV, but it will need a solid undercard, which Ben Shalom is allergic to providing. He tried once, but it brought him out in a rash.maverick23 wrote: ↑03 Nov 2022, 08:19 Eubank’s a man in demand now. decent fight, if beefy's toughness carries up he may be able to keep up the workrate without getting canvas bounced like the other liam was

I really like this fight. I’m backing Smith to get the W.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith - 17 December 2022?
Whats not to like ,, Said it a million times , you can drag two guys out the pub , has long has they are the same size , and ability , both willing to have a go , , does'nt matter if they can fight if they both think they can fight , you'll get a good fight , These two both know they can fight and both come too fight ,
I'm with you i like this one , and would be saying put your money on smith espeicially , if RRJ is training Eubank for a style that does'nt suit him ,, but then i think of Eubanks performance against , the Bigger Groves and go Mmmmm i'm not too sure now , got to be a good fight cos its hard to pick a winner
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith - 17 December 2022?
I too leaning towards Smith. I think boxing ability is the deciding factor rather than sheer toughness here.
Liam Williams was able to outbox Eubank - when he wasn't being put on the canvas - there's been lots of explanations why he was so fragile that night, and none of them should be a factor for Smith.

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith - Who wins?
ive changed my mind i think liam looked off in his last fight thought he was lucky the oppo acted up crazy , got the dq but liam got tagged a lot i am siding eubanks now its strange but in boxing ypu get old fast and liam might be done, hope nope not as iam fan of him
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith - Who wins?
True is'nt it and that what make some fights interesting , because just like you can get old fast , you can also just fight someone who's style does'nt suit you or you just simply had a bad night at the office and come back looking a million dollars . This for me is defo an interesting fightbrilo33 wrote: ↑04 Nov 2022, 19:21ive changed my mind i think liam looked off in his last fight thought he was lucky the oppo acted up crazy , got the dq but liam got tagged a lot i am siding eubanks now its strange but in boxing ypu get old fast and liam might be done, hope nope not as iam fan of him

there's definitely potential that Smith's age shows suddenly and starkly. its a far more interesting fight than CEJ- Conor for me

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith - 17 December 2022?
I think Eubank recently has a tendency to only do what he has to, unless really pushed.
He has more than enough in the locker to increase his output and beat a fading Smith handily.

Unless Smith is badly faded (I'm undecided on this), I think he outpoints junior. Less convincing than Groves but same result
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith - 17 December 2022?
It's not being rumoured, it's been in a few papers up here as fact it will be in the Hydromaverick23 wrote: ↑03 Nov 2022, 08:35Definitely but Shalom confirmed Catterall/Taylor wouldn’t be in Manchester yesterday and it’s being rumoured that it’s at the Hydro.

Eubanks lack of ambition in opponents puts paid to the notion that, at 33, he is or ever has been close to world class.
Decent fight but feck me Eubank lacks ambition

Just like his dad avoided all the decent americans (top fighters) and got money from domestic showdowns.

Yep and Beefy has been fighting again regularly and looking good whilst spewbank has been poncing around on social media talking a lot of hot air .JamesPhilips wrote: ↑07 Nov 2022, 11:47Eubank also fought many foreign bums and arguably lost to a few. His ‘world title’ resume is awful

Aye I think that is probably more than likely the case.

not sure of the ethics of interviewing someone who’s recently been in a mental hospital (if reports are to be believed) and is clearly not well.
first few minutes was enough to put me off.
tbh i’ve never been sure whether Senior was putting on a persona or was/is genuinely like that. the sheriff badge has been his thing for a while now too
