Taking the extremes out of the equation the belief that it's ok to avoid paying tax reminds me of a woman on a local forum who constantly complains that her bins aren't emptied, that there are potholes in the road, that the Police don't respond quickly enough, etc., etc., All things that taxpayers money is used for.

Then she posts asking where she can buy some hooky Tobacco, denying the exchequer their cut.

I can honestly say i,ve never ever had a problem paying tax , even my accountant could,nt believe how blas sae i was about it , i just figured someomne has to pay for roads schools ,,health care ect , and always happy to pay my share , i simply lookec at it if i got a big bill its because i earnt a lot that period ,, Course thats not to say i did,ntt look to minimize it if i could , but if its a legit dedubction its fair you claim it

I wouldn't mind paying it if we didn't pay so much of it, they take nearly 20% of your wage before it hits your bank account, then add in all the other taxes, VAT, VED, Fuel Duty, Council Tax etc. etc, half your wage is going on tax.
