Yup, you can’t help thinking that Hearn’s time is coming to an end. Everyone’s leaving him or planning to leave him, DAZN appears to be going to become a PPV app like Fite TV, I’m sure the number of subscribers they have must be dropping every weekend particularly with an energy crisis coming, and when he does make a purse bid he invariably loses. He must be pretty demoralised to think that in 12 months he’s gone from Fight Camp and a Josh Warrington stadium fight which all took place in the time , this year, between a nextgen show and a Leigh Wood defence.

Frank played a blinder leaving Dev in charge of the YouTube, Twitter, etc. He loves winding Matchroom up.

Yep. He should be feeling the pressure now.
Overall, he has gone down hill. Despite all the new deals etc..

He’s not the same he was say 3-4 years ago.

Britain had 11 world champions just 6 years ago. Seems like a long time.
The world champs come in cycles. There are few beatable world champs nowadays whilst that wasn’t always the case. Plus Frank had the WBO in his pocket and the WBA had half a dozen world champs in each division.

Eddie’s still putting on big shows. He’s 10 days or so past AJ/Usyk, he’s got Canelo/GGG in a couple of weeks and Benn/Eubank in a month or so. He’s just not putting on many U.K. shows, or US shows and his fighters aren’t active (bar Skye Nicholson).

I’m not sure I’d go that far. He’s probably promoted the biggest fights this year (I think the Canelo/Bivol and AJ/Usyk) and has the biggest one planned in Canelo/Golovkin.

Whilst he’s on a poor run and we want and expect more I think it’s a bit OTT to say his time is coming to an end.

Totally agree. He is making huge money and has put on some huge fights. But the whole DAZN thing has been a disaster for him in terms of his vision of moving boxing on in the key markets on US and UK.

And DAZN as an entity is on very shaky ground.

He is very very short of boxing stars too. Still he will come again.

Looks to me like Hearn is going use VADA testing to manoeuvre Buatsi away and to keep that IBF route open.

Let me get this straight..

Does Hearn want VADA or not?

Yes. Can you actually blame them? Pascal loves a PED ‘vitamin’ ‘supplement’.

Just can’t see Hearn letting Buatsi fight on BT.

I agree VADA should be included..

Pascal got a free pass for his multiple drug fails and Miller was dragged through the mud.

I have DAZN and BT so I’m not too fussed where it takes place but I can understand them wanting VADA. Frank doesn’t like paying for things unless obliged to so I can see him kicking off with the usual ‘who cares what Eddie Hearn wants…we’ll do all the testing required by the board’ etc etc.

And there’s the DUCK!

Who’s he gonna fight?

Bivol is tired up?

Surely they believe they can beat Pascal!

Pascal is still a good fighter and a step up for Buatsis.

Big risk little reward

Depend what happens next. If he fights Callum Smith then great. If he fights Fanlong Meng or someone similar then it’s a big missed opportunity.
