Zhanibek definitely didn’t lose more than two rounds.
But if you disagree, then tell me which rounds Alexander took from Alimkhanuly?
Zhanibek definitely didn’t lose more than two rounds.
He's ok, but Alexander roughed him up. Yeah, Brant is a better win for Jani that any win of Andrade at mw, which is laughable for a "boxing super-star" like Andrade.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 02:59Let’s be honest, you’re not really “trying to figure out” anything, are you, because all you have to do is use BoxRec or Google?tiny_acres wrote: ↑01 Aug 2022, 22:28 I'm trying to figure out who Alimkhanuly has fought to be considered the #1 contender.
He has fought no one of note.
But the Andrede's resume sucks too. So who knows how this fight will turn out
• Zhanibek Alimkhanuly’s amateur pedigree (according to the stats cited by The RING) are outrageously impressive (record 300-8; nine-time Kazakhstan national champ, two-time Asian champ; and 2013 World Championship gold medallist)!
• Zhanibek Alimkhanuly’s opponents during 2021 were Rob Brant and Hassan N'Dam, both former champions boasting victories over the former WBA super world middleweight champion, Ryota Murata (the fighter GGG fought less than four months ago).
• Zhanibek Alimkhanuly is currently rated 5th by The RING and 4th by ESPN.
• Earlier this year, the likes of Demetrius Andrade, Esquiva Falcao and Jaime Munguía have all flatly-refused to consider facing Zhanibek Alimkhanuly. These guys didn’t even consider the ‘risk versus reward’ conundrum when they rejected the opportunity to fight Alimkhanuly, because they didn’t even bother asking Top Rank what their paydays would have been.
Alexander didn’t “rough up” Alimkhanuly.apollo creed wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 04:03He's ok, but Alexander roughed him up. i did one better than a 4 minute highlight video and actually watched the full fight, unlike dudes who just searched boxrec or went running for highlights so they dont have to watch the entire thing lolapollo creed wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 03:49some highlightsmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑01 Aug 2022, 20:41did you actually watch the fight vs vaughn alexander, or just pull a boxrec? he won like 7 rounds at least, the split decision was horrible judging. most fan scores ive seen for the fight are 80-72........
Jani had a hard fight vs Alexander. Zach Parker stopped Alexander is 2.
I guess Jani ain't no the next GGG or Pirog.
but omg omg ggg got roughed up by mehdi bouadla! couldnt even stop him even though mehdi got stopped in 3 of his 5 other losses! demetri chudinov destroyed him in 3 rounds but ggg couldnt put a dent in him!

lol you've never seen the whole fight, you're just a boxrec warrior who noticed the result on the record and went running for highlights which show like 3 minutes of action, which you probably didnt watch in full either. not one fan card gave alexander more than 2 rounds. the average score here is 80-73. you are just like these dudes who never saw chisora-pulev 1 and went around calling it close because one terrible judge had it for chizzapollo creed wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 14:24 Alexander gave a tough fight to Jani. Charlo and Andrada should fight each other. Both are doing nothing in boxing.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑03 Aug 2022, 03:27 Demetrius Andrade’s WBO world title reign ends two-weeks on Friday.
Boo Boo would have held that title for almost four years, performing only one mandatory defence, whilst facing terribly lacklustre opposition, such as: Jason Quigley, Liam Williams, Luke Keeler, Maciej Sulecki, Artur Akavov and Walter Kautondokwa.
Demetrius Andrade will be on the cusp of turning 35 years of age the next time he competes and here’s a list of his career lows:
• He has never beaten a current or former legitimate world champion.
• He has rejected guaranteed opportunities to face top-ten world-rated fighters, such as: Jermell Charlo, Jermall Charlo, Sergiy Derevyanchenko, Matt Korobov, Zhanibek Alimkhanuly and also the winner of the Erislandy Lara vs. Jarrett Hurd title unification.
• He has only engaged in one fight outside of the US during the entirety of his fourteen-year professional career.
• He is about to needlessly terminate a third title reign without performing a single meaningful defence of his strap. And every time he’s ever vacated a world championship, his next fight ended up being a low-paid non-title bout against a journeyman, with history appearing to repeat itself once again.

Basically my argument on Andrade's behalf all along. He's had enough low level fights. He is within a couple years of wanting to cash out. Fighting Janibek doesn't do that. A fight against one of the top guys helps his retirement a lot more. Hell, he'd be a lot better off fighting Jake Paul than Janibek as far as money.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑08 Aug 2022, 16:10 demetrius is 35 soon and hasnt had a meaningful fight his entire career, he needs to do something fast
I think Andrade wants to fight Charlo more than ever this time. But only Canelo has the key for Charlo's chastity belt. lolBandog wrote: ↑09 Aug 2022, 07:31Basically my argument on Andrade's behalf all along. He's had enough low level fights.
