I expect him to beat Usyk when all is said and done. But he never gave Klitschko the rematch, and as others posted that was so long ago when he was almost a completely different fighter.

So basically I'm judging it on beating Wilder twice and Whyte once. And for me, Usyk beating Joshua twice in the manner he did is more impressive.

Lineal is not synonymous with the best in the division, so I have no issue with him being at #2 until it is decided in the ring.

That average thing is BS. #1 has more votes than #2 and out combined. It doesn't get any more clear than that.

I guess the 'out' voters believe that we should treat his retirement as we would any other boxer
so until he gets back in the ring despite him already fighting this year. Helenius got voted out anyway after his loss. Even if he stayed in, we would have done a separate vote in it tbh.

In terms of Fury, I certainly think the fight will go ahead, as long as we don’t have any injuries.

As promised, we voted on him being back in as soon as he was next scheduled to fight.

I somewhat agree with that..

Whoever they are don’t want to be known either because no one has commented ‘out’ or reasoned why.

I voted Fury to #1. He is not that far apart from Usyk currently but he is more proven at HW. I would see beating Fury as the better HW win then beating Usyk at the moment. If Usyk would beat Wilder I would move him at #1. Beating Ruiz or Joyce would make them almost even.

This is a good example of why average is not good way to "solve" the vote. If one would count out as 16 and average the result Fury would end up somewhere around #6 Which i guess would not be good in any ones opinion

There are more votes for 1 then the other votes combined so it clearly is the way to go.

Yes just hatred. I think the guy is a blow hard self centered egomaniac, but he is the
#1 heavyweight until he gets beat or has been inactive for more than 1 year.
I would actually pick Usyk and Joyce over Fury in head to head match ups right now.
But those have not happened and neither have Fury's accomplishments at heavyweight.

One of the many problems with the abc orgs is they need to act swiftly and call the bluff, if that's what it is when people retire, and strip the belts immediately.

They also need to enforce mandatories and immediately strip belts. It shouldn't matter what the boxer's name or $status is, but it does.

he is number 1 until he is beat you don't have to like him but you cant be grudge him top spot and he fights different for different fighters no other fighter has had the skill to do that he's a one of, just cause he looks beatable and not your typical fighter means nothing , he is to me the best heavy weight bar none
