I have more confidence in Hrgovic fighting Usyk than I do in Fury accepting to face Usyk.
I think we are going to be seeing Fury trying to milk easy defenses and avoiding real competition. Eventually forcing the WBC to strip him of his belt.
I hope I'm wrong,but I doubt it

How old will Usyk be and exactly who outboxed Hrgovic in the amateurs or pros? Don't say Yoka did it in the Amateurs in 2016, he received a gifted a gifted decision and went on to win Gold. Hrgovic is different from AJ and will prove to a tough match for sure.
If/when thing fight happens, I'll make an official call. Due to Usyk's age this match tilts Hrgovic's way in 2023-2024.

Since he beat Dubois in 2020, Joyce has decisively beaten Takam, Hammer and Parker. Dubois has decisively beaten Dinu, Cusumano and Bryan with a close and controversial victory over Lerena. Dubois will probably end up with a title shot 6-12 months earlier. If you're Joyce you should probably be asking Warren who's best interests he has.

The division moves so slow it's almost trapped in amber, even when orgs announce a mandatory, it can still take 12+ months...

All of these guys being ranked as mandatories have done nothing to deserve it other than the fact that they are more hyperactive than most in the division but they have beaten nobody of any real serious consequence. This has Michael Grant written all over it.

more like doing the bare minimum of staying active at all (fighting handpicked semi pros out of the 3rd world with at first glance a half decent record built against butchers & garbage men) in a division paralyzed by greedy handlers.

If everyone was to rank the heavyweights in terms of who deserves a title shot most, how would it go? Hrgovic would probably be in the fourth group for me meaning that there are 8+ people more deserving. (big fight being top 15/25).

Yes, wins. I mean based on merit. Who deserves the shot ahead of Hrgovic in your perspective and how close are they. I think beat Zhang and 3 others similar to him would probably be enough when compared with the win streaks of others to be honest.

Ouch, Hrgovic does not match up well whatsoever with Usyk. He should've went for Dubois who he fares substantially better against and gets a trinket.

Looks like they're making an interim belt. Probably a 50/50 chance of Ruiz taking it as he has Wilder lined up (in-house, more money Vs title shot). If he turns it down then Wilder is up next so you'd assume if Ruiz doesn't take it then neither is Wilder. That leaves AJ, then Bakole. Would be weird to offer AJ a title shot off the back off consecutive losses for the same belt, so surely Bakole or Ruiz Vs Hrgovic for the interim belt? Bakole has a fight lined up, I suspect with Hunter so if for some reason he turns this down aswell then it's Sanchez who would accept.

So if Andy decides to fight Wilder, then what happens with the IBF? Also think Usyk might be freed up if he and Fury cannot agree on the split.
Tyson wants to fight Francis Ngannou no doubt, so let's get it out of the way.
*But I hope I'm wrong and Fury vs Usyk gets announced next week.

If this is going to happen do it in December in the Middle East.
IBF should call purse bids for in 2 or 3 weeks, and let that 2 weeks be the time limit for fury/usyk discussions. If those 2 can have something signed by mid September then ditch the mando for now…
Can’t be waiting for things, that’s what’s been killing boxing. It’s a fine fight, but not good enough to wait for…

Whyte parker bakole and sanchez being 2 away sounds about right, although 1 good one could get em there... BUT, Add in the rest of the divisionto the 2 big fights away... because the way heavyweights currently act every single fighter is 2 big wins away from a title seeing as 2 big wins is practicaly unheard off in heavyweight boxing these days....
