KSI hits out at his own fight’s PPV price as he prepares for Dillon Danis clash
YouTuber KSI has criticised the PPV price of his next fight despite his own promotion overseeing the event.
Back in June, the English rapper launched the company Misfits Boxing, offering opportunities to budding boxers and fellow influencers. Just two months later, 'The Nightmare' hosted his own 'two fights in one night' event, beating Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda.
KSI will now look to continue his unbeaten run against Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis on January 14 at Wembley Arena. Those not in London will have to fork out £11.99, whilst viewers in the US and Canada have to pay $39.99, a factor the star himself is angry about.
"This pricing makes no sense, why is the US and Canada 40 dollars but the UK is 12 pounds lmao?" he wrote in a since deleted Tweet. "Who thought this was a good idea?"
He also made sure to imply that he had zero input into the costs, adding: "I don't understand the logistics so I'll just stay in my lane but just think it's a bit mad lol."
