Where have the rumours on this come from?
Don't want to worry you , But your next week
Thin air.
Bunce is an incredible arse licker, the worse. For some reason people think he's a straight talker. They are taken in by his bluster. He's worse than Graham Norton.
Was all over Twitter tbh. And a few reputable people posted about it.
Does Norton make biros disappear as well?Rezzer1967 wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 04:58Bunce is an incredible arse licker, the worse. For some reason people think he's a straight talker. They are taken in by his bluster. He's worse than Graham Norton.
He's someone that's genuinely loves the sport, shame if he goes.Dioufy wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 05:06Was all over Twitter tbh. And a few reputable people posted about it.
He’s been in a position all of us would dream of despite being an atrocious comms person. I personally cannot stand his obvious bias when it comes to home fighters… and he does it with a passion that makes you genuinely question his actual knowledge of the sport.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 06:07He's someone that's genuinely loves the sport, shame if he goes.
Same, the commentary is very poor. He isn't the only biased commentator in the world though. The main BT guy is toilet and Chris Mannix turns it into an art form.Dioufy wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 06:55He’s been in a position all of us would dream of despite being an atrocious comms person. Seems like a good, family man and I’ve got nothing personal to say against him and wish him no harm… but I would not get upset to see him replaced.
Careful what you wish for, BBC World Cup, or any kind of sports coverage, is woke nonsense with presenters / pundits chosen solely to tick diversity boxes rather than picked on merit.veriton wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 06:33 Watching the BBC World Cup coverage just makes you realise how far behind boxing is. We've got public schoolboy Smith with zero boxing experience growling about what Bomber means when we need ex pros with in depth first hand knowledge of the sport.
Question is, who would be our Gary Lineker? I'd get David Haye doing it
Are you saying Mica Richards and Ian Wright are only employed because they're black?CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 07:32 woke nonsense with presenters / pundits chosen solely to tick diversity boxes rather than picked on merit.

Adam Smith is the Mark Lawrenson of boxing. Once saw Ed Robinson described as a Sky goblin on here and wouldn't disagree.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 07:32Careful what you wish for, BBC World Cup, or any kind of sports coverage, is woke nonsense with presenters / pundits chosen solely to tick diversity boxes rather than picked on merit.veriton wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 06:33 Watching the BBC World Cup coverage just makes you realise how far behind boxing is. Sky should use the long overdue exit of the truly awful Smith as a chance to turn over a new leaf. Make Ed Robinson front of house again, put Andy Clarke on comms and get rid of Anna and Johnny and Matt
Ed is a top bloke. It's no wonder he doesn't post on here anymore with childish comments like SKY goblin.veriton wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 08:18Adam Smith is the Mark Lawrenson of boxing. Excellent postCounter-puncher wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 08:18 it amuses me slightly when people talk about ethnic minority presenters only being given jobs 'because wokeness'
like, all the white presenters and commentators and pundits are there purely through merit? absolutely every one of them deserves their job, they give insight and analysis you'd never think of yourself? all of you, in the days before seeing black people on the screens, you were there constantly praising the quality of those non-woke presenters? you were always there thinking, 'wow there is a level of insight here I'd never have gained anywhere else and certainly not from someone with brown skin'?
Alan Hansen basically said the exact same thing thousands of times, over and over and over. i think he had basically 3 phrases/ hobbyhorses. he was fvcking sh1t.
Lawrenson was a snidey prick thought he was funny and had fvck-all insight of any worth. sh1t.
we're on a thread about Adam Smith, worst boxing commentator in the history of Britain, and we're angry that some presenters other than him aren't very good?![]()

but we can't blame 'woke' for that can we?
