Or one of Smith's brothers.

In answer to the question: yes it seems so.

General thoughts: who the fq cares if CEJ is gay or straight? The best reaction to that football player coming out last year (which I believe was actually not true anyway but would have been perfect) was Roy Keane saying ‘so what, he’s still shit’.

I agree it's a bit much to take it out, and that ends up counter productive anyway, but it is 12 year old child stuff, I didn't think Liam was rattled til he came out with that. When things get personal they can get ugly, that last McGregor-Khabib conference wasn't entertaining it was embarrassing. Family, religion, politics of Ireland and Degestan, real personal nasty attacks and it wasnt edgy entertainment because it's not WWF,

I don't think Liam Smith wants gay people strung up it was just a stupid silly ignorant remark but I don't care that it was removed either it was cheesy

Not a hanging offense considering it's fight week but it's in poor taste and seeing as Eubank countered by accusing him of cheating on his Mrs I'm sure Smith will regret it

Still as ever if this type of things helps make it a more exciting fight then lovely

Eubank should have said he was looking forward to giving Smith a good fisting in the ring on Saturday night.

20 or 30 years ago that would have been an indicator, but now most young blokes around town are manscaped, plucked and pruned like ponces.

Smith getting plenty of criticism on social media.

Paul has been uncharacteristically quiet - he's normally got an opinion on everything, he's like a Poundland wannabe Gary Neville

She's made of stronger stuff. She has gutted out some serious gym challenges that would break weaker spirits.. Decent sort is Anna.

I've said all along i liked this fight ,, like it even more now , when it gets personal the needle sets in , when the needle sets in , its gonna be a fight , Regards Smiths comments ,, boo hoo , Eubank is a master at winding his opponents up and it getting personal , someone like Smith was always going to come out with it , is he gay , don't know , and don't care ,

But Chris gave back has good has he got , Beefy has some serious questions gonna come at him after the fight from his missis   , i gave that rnd to Eubank  .

The gay issue is a silly one to go down its 2023 no one gives a shit . But Beefy Smith is a hard man from a tough familly in Liverpool , who won't back down it was always going to be someone like him that would bring it up , pity he never thougt about sky and all the woke souls about before he opened his mouth . Two fighters name calling before the big night , what do you expect , its all in the nights work

I watched it. Not sure of was edited. But all Smith says is have you got something to tell us? He repeats this. Says nobody has seen with you with a woman.

Eubank laughed it off.

But he got personal when Smith talked about Eubank's hairline. Chris's vanity kicked in. He was clearly unsettled.

Also seems a bit silly accusing someone of being gay when your nickname is "beefy".

I can't imagine why anyone would get called beefy unless they were gay and known for getting beefed.

Honestly can’t see what all the fuss is about. He tried winding him up and Eubank ended up turning it round on him. Nothing was offensive just a normal bit of back and forth, none of this matters comes Saturday night anyway.

I knew a guy called that, it was on account of him being hung like a donkey, maybe Beefy has a big todger?

He was fat as a kid

Callum is apparently named after a ninja turtle but none of the turtles were called "Mundo", they would say Mondo which is that 80s surfer slang I think so maybe it came from that

Haven't watched the presser in question but read earlier that Eubank was first to insinuate homosexuality when referencing Smith sliding into his DMs, if true Smith's took the bait and Jr comes away a hero

A load of shite anyway, it'll mean nothing when they shake hands Saturday night

Isn't the sister autistic or something?
Well if so, then fair play to CEJ for sacrificing what would have been a tremendous heat-of-the-moment quip for the sake of human decency
no he is just far too self obsessed to know about the smith family autism thing .

Come on, you’re all on a boxing forum, you know how the sport works. If you’re on PPV your pay is directly linked to the number of PPV’s sold. Both Smith & Eubank will be delighted with how the press conference went. And Sky will be as well. Loads of journalists with huge followings talking about it on social media. It couldn’t have gone better.

And Sky supposedly been upset with Smith? Behave. They’ll be delighted. Making controversial comments in press conferences to sell PPV’s didn’t exactly harm Haye & Bellew’s media careers did it? They’re all playing the game.

Smith’s 34, it’s the only PPV fight he’ll ever have unless he pulls off the upset. He’s just trying to make as much money as possible.
