I like the "Boxrec Poll" .... Talk about a 50/50 fight!

With 28 votes :

50% have Tsyzu winning
50% have Harrison winning

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Tony Harrison outboxing him for long stretches only to be KO'd later in the fight.

Great main event and a decent undercard too with some well matched mid levle australian guys....

-Paulo Aokuso is one to watch in a decent step up (excellent opponent for his 4th fights.)

Even though I think Tim is the future here, I do hope Tony has enough left in the tank to give a good account of himself. Also this is probably Tim's last chance to learn something before he gets chucked in a championship fight.
I agree with the other posters, there are some interesting fights on the card.

Nah mate not worth paying for it, it ain't even a title fight.
Crawford Spence, Fury Uysk, Canelo Bivol and maybe Taylor Catterall is all I would pay for, everthing else isn't worth it.

Harrison will have to put the work in early.
Tszyu is a stalker wear you down type.
Lean toward Tim but if Tony can come up with a career best you never know.

Harrison on Tszyu’s team predicting a stoppage win
“I think they’re supposed to believe in their horse. That’s the guy that they built up, that’s the guy that they wanted to possess the fight to get all the belts. So first step is Tony Harrison but like I said, if Tim thinks he’s gonna come in and do what he did to all of the rest of them guys, it’s gonna be a sad day in Australia for them guys.”

On having only lost to elite fighters and what that means for this fight against Tszyu
“Tim think he’s going to do the same thing, like the same thing is gonna happen two or three times in a row — it doesn’t happen. It doesn’t happen to a Detrioter. I think Tim’s fighting a mature, fine-tuned wine, wine and dine king now. I’m not a young, unstable, vicious lion, I’m more of a seasoned vet now. So all the mistakes I made in the beginning was perfect for me.”

On if Tszyu’s team is mistaken in believing he’s too old and worn to cope with Tszyu
“You know what, I like that narrative. I’d like for them to keep that narrative. That means they gonna come in with some reckless shit and get caught recklessly.”

On being well-received in Australia and if he feels like the favorite
“I’m really a hard guy not to like. I’m a hard guy not to go for, you know what I’m saying. I think everybody’s going no only — past the skill, just the charisma and just the way I interact with people. And I think Tim is the total opposite, he’s corny.”

Seems kind of foolish for Tszyu to take a risky fight like this instead of waiting for Charlo. Glad though, good fight.

He wants the punk Spence next. Mad because Errol bet 10k on Harrison to win.

I think its the perfect stepping stone to a title fight. Tony is a better boxer than Tim, in my view. But Tim is younger and Tony has a few miles on the clock. Sure Tim might get schooled early on, but should be able to pull back a win.
I see it a bit like Josh Taylor vs Victor Postal- the perfect stepping stone to the top level.
If Tim does win, he is as ready as he can be for Charlo. If he loses, credit to Tony and Tim needs to regroup.

Normally I would kinda agree this is a nice top level step up befor the top top level. Except when your in line for an undisputed fight… id of skipped this one haha and given myself another highlight KO vs a eggington or someone of that level.
