Just popped up on Sky Sports that Eubank has activated the rematch clause
Just seen that too
He was running out of time to activate it.

Do or die for Eubank. Think he'll win a rematch. If he were to lose, he'd have to retire.

I think Eubank will win the rematch, I think he will be better prepared, more focussed and box better

I mean… they both are to be fair.
First contest was good, I expect second to be good too.

Have to retire?
After less than five losses?
That statement is 80% of what is wrong with boxing right now.

Makes sense for both fighters. Liam smith isn't getting a bigger money fight than the rematch, would still get destroyed by GGG (for less money) and Kell Brook and Conor Benn don't want that fight.

I enjoyed the first fight and so this is a rare rematch I'm all for seeing again.
One guy starts bossing it, then gets stopped - sure he needs a second chance.
Sure Smith is going to be brimming with confidence knowing he can stop Eubank, but I feel Eubank is the sort of guy who can adjust, and has never shied away from putting the work inside the gym.

Eubank is always in a good fight, and like his dad he brings the show

Rematch makes sence , but if he does'nt change trainers same thing will happen sooner or later beefy will catch him , he just can't box the waay RJJ wants him too , not in his makeup

CEJ is a 4/5 favorite
William Hill Spokesperson Lee Phelps told WBN: “Despite Liam Smith’s outstanding performance last month, we still see Chris Eubank Jr having the slight edge at 4/5 if the duo fight again.
“While we expect a closely contested bout, Eubank Jr’s powerful striking separates him from Smith (EVS). We see him getting the better of his rival in a potential rematch.”
Chris Eubank Jr 4/5
Liam Smith EVS
Draw 12/1

I fancy Smith to win again.
I think Eubank needs to put it on him rather than box
Looking forward to the fight

There is zero interest in Eubank if he loses the rematch. What does he do after back to back losses to Smith?

Chris Eubank Jr 4/5
Liam Smith EVS
Draw 12/1
Ignoring the draw because nobody’s picked it the boxrec odds are
Smith 4/9
Jr 9/4
In my experience the bookies’ odds compilers are far less well informed than boxrec members

Yeah he's gotta retire if he loses this. Not because he still couldn't beat a lot of people @ SMW, but because he's never gonna get the big fights and big money again.
