Hearn knows that the CBS fight will be strictly licensed and certainly wont be starting at 10.45pm.
He's definitely on one at the moment.

Yep, they are just opening lower tier and haven't really sold many from open sale (Leigh Wood sells his own through his manager!) so they will need local interest.

If they were only open wing the lower tier then they should have just had it in Nottingham. Unless it wasn’t available.
I’m sure they can sell out 10k tickets.

I was going to go to this (before realising i'm in London the same day) and was looking at seats.
There are whole blocks of seats left and some really good £47 seats left for anyone thinking of going.

If you anyone is thinking of going to a Matchroom show that won’t sell well in the future, just hang on til fight week and a load of freebies go on Bluelight.

I can't see past a repeat of the first fight, but i hope Wood pulls it off, he boxed beautifully for long stretches last time.

MAURICIO LARA: "I’LL TRY TO KO LEIGH WOOD FASTER THIS TIME"
“It is gonna be a good fight,” Lara (26-2-1, 19 KOs) told The Ring through Alejandro Brito of Bxstrs Promotions. “We know now what [Wood] is capable of. It was a great experience but this rematch will be different because I have prepared myself better than ever and it will show May 27th. I’ll try to KO him faster this time.”
“It is definitely the biggest accomplishment of my life,” he said proudly. “I had fought so hard to get [the title] and it took a while but I finally made it. I will keep on reaching goals.
“ with my family, my neighborhood, everyone from my gym. Everyone knew the sacrifices I was making for that fight.”
“I hope you are doing great; we both know it’s gonna be a great fight,” said Lara, who arrived in England on Monday. “I will also say he is not gonna take back from me something I worked so hard to get, since I was eight years old. He is not going to take that away from me.”

I’ve somehow only just realised there’s 3 world title bills same night in uk, probably as this one’s the only one I’ve really been eyeing.
Certainly a great fight, because the first one was just that. But it seems to come under that rare category where the fighter is pushing for a rematch he really shouldn’t be going for, right away.
At least I imagine his corner and everyone involved is going to be very nervous about the outcome of this one, because that mad Mexican hits like a f**king freight train.
