dudes certainly gotten bigger, though perhaps at a cost. conditioning has gone downhill in general, and a lot of the fights are more lazy and filled with single shots. it's become increaasingly rare to find a hw who can box and move and put some combos together at a consistently decent clip for 12, fury and usyk can do it but not many others

That's correct - that's why Joyce got as far as he did, without having a defence, because he was in much better condition than most of his opponents and could fight at a better pace.

When you look at most heavyweight matchips of the last decade, they are usually very low output.

To be fair to Fury, for a big man he has excellent cardio, never really seems to be sluggish.

Too many modern heavyweights are either jacked up, or fat, and as a result they have very poor stamina.

Who is the UK heavyweight who was out recently, think he was a peer of Joyce's though a little younger, liked the look of him, natural build, and was quick and fluid.

There's Jared Anderson too, big enough at 6 foot 4, pretty quick and moves well, I'm interested to see how he develops, he's looked impressive so far, but hasn't stepped up to a level yet where we can be certain how good he is.

I’ll always remember Sky showing that fight delayed, with us having to wait until flipping Sunday tea time to watch it, while trying all day to resist looking up the result.

That was a sad watch. I rated Ola though. I never twigged he was british. Good fighter
