It was probably the first Benn vs Eubank fight my father was into boxing so he got me interested as well, although the first boxing I remember seeing on TV was Tyson vs Bruno the year before but that was delayed coverage on the Sunday afternoon not live.

McGuigan v Pedrosa. 1985, I was 9 years old. My dad was a huge boxing fan and I’d heard lots about Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard but never actually seen boxing live. I was allowed to stay up and watch Barry McGuigan fight for the title. I’ve loved boxing ever since.
