Nah, Fury already took that route. Didn't come off well.

Now I know why the saudis wanted him to open the season.

According to Wilder, it hasn't yet been decided which fight will be the main event and he has suggested they toss a coin for it.
The fight posters I have seen thus far seem to be very much highlighting Wilder and Joshua, almost like they are fighting each other. Which of course they aren't.

Joshua was asked that question in the live interview immediately after the presser, and said he didn't know, but just say i'm co-main event.

What's what Miller (a gobshite who fcked his own chance against Joshua) had to say got to do with who's the main event or who's the co-main event?

it doesn't, it's just another ped cheat for our resident rasta to swoon over - supporting clean, drug free sports and all that

Miller's one of the most (possibly the most) despised boxers around nowadays. There have been a fair few comments from other boxers that he shouldn't be getting a chance on such a big event and should get binned.
You really are selling your dignity for a whole lot of nothing if you've wanked yourself silly over what Conor Benn did, but then start using Miller as some gospel of righteousness.

whine about conor benn being a drug cheat, then fanboi to ped cheat and cocaine fiend tyson fury , while using walking pharmacy jarrell miller as backing. makes perfect sense

This card could be redeemed if the promoters announce that Joshua vs Wilder is next. If they both win their fights it will lead to Joshua Wilder.
Some people didn't like when Fury announced Fury vs Usyk before Ngannou fight but I liked it b/c it showed that this isn't pointless, that it is leading to somewhere.
Joshua Wilder 2024, nooooo Ngannou!

So far the big heavyweight bills have provided this level of entertainment
Joshua v Helenius 4\10
Hrgovic v McKean 2\10
Chisora v Washington 3\10
Fisher v Armstrong 4\10
Fury v Ngannou 3\10
Wardley v Adeleye 7\10
Mak v junior wright 1\10
Parker v Keane 4\10
Itauma v bernath 1\10
Bakole v Takam 2\10
The next one promises a lot more?

They can’t announce Joshua vs. Wilder 2024, because it won’t happen. It’s obvious what the plan for next year.
Joshua said that he wants to be a 3-time champion and there is an direkt path to achieve it next year.
AJ is the IBF #3 fighting the IBF #2 Wallin next.
In February we will hopefully have a title unification. The Fury/Usyk winner will announce that he isn’t defending the IBF belt against the mandatory challenger Hrgovic, because he has to respect a rematch-clause.
The IBF strips Fury/Usyk and will order Hrgovic vs AJ for the vacant belt.

So this is the warmup for Hrgovic who was given the lowest-ranked opponent on the event? The problem with the card as I see it is that they all have clear favorites other than maybe Makhmudov vs Kabayel. I don't know these guys very well but they have similar records.

Yeah. Just a low risk stay busy fight. He is getting his title shot sooner or later anyway.

6-8 years we have waited for Joshua-Wilder and, as you say, there is still no guarantee it will ever happen.

Courtesy of the DAZN propaganda machine :
'Filip Hrgovic is the IBF mandatory challenger but as he waits for his first world title crack, he must first face Mark De Mori and the Australian has a huge chance to break into the heavyweight rankings against the unbeaten Hrgovic and earn a future world title shot himself.'
Look out world title holders. Here's comes 41 year old, never was, Mark DeMori
