100%. Lovely man as well. Im not far from Telford and he is totally down to earth and like you say 0 effects from boxing.

I'd imagine there are not many fighters at all who can fill the Manchester arena or the O2 at the moment. People clearly tightening their belts and watching it at home.
Unbelievable how many empty seats there are .
Not a great look .

Hugged him to a pretty decent win .
I'm biased as I hate boxers who hug instead of fighting inside. Refs lt go all the time which I find strange.

I've bet on Sol Dacres, purely because the other guy is from Middlesbrough. :OhYes:

I take your point , but he did some good work otherwise when he could keep the range and deserved the win.

That fight was better than I thought. Always great to see someone win the British unexpectedly.

Like the quick turnarounds here.

Webster looking quite pudgy in the face.

Dacres weighed in heavier than expected but was fully clothed on the scales so I'd imagine he is actually about 238-240.

One thing puzzling me is Webster announced as from Middlesboro, Yorkshire.

I never have had Boro as a part of Yorkshire? Am I wrong here?

Had Scarff ahead 116-112, scrappy at times, a lot of spoiling and mauling, both were guilty of smothering their work, Scarff switched constantly but done a lot better in the middle rounds when he kept that distance and tagged Essuman with the straight and looping right hands, Essuman is tough, hard to hit clean , doesn't land clean often it has to be said but he is strong and super fit, just keeps trudging forward, both men were tired in the later rounds and started to take cleaner shots, Scarff landed the better shots though and deserved it

Probably 2,500-3,000 in there now but they havent set it up well at all. Matchroom and Boxxer both much better at that.

Agree which makes it more annoying cos he did some decent work at range.

Spotted that Nathan Gorman is now booked in for a fight. 1 year and 5 days after his last fight, obviously completely coincidental that a year to the day would pass and the following weekend Gorman would be back in there.

I reckon he is as confused about where the borders of Yorkshire lie as the rest of us and he’s actually a Blackpool fan!
