He was still on holiday 2 days ago. I’m not sure I’ve heard of anything as ridiculous as a heavyweight in training for the biggest fight of his career having a beach holiday 2 months out mid-camp? In Paris’ Instagram pictures Tyson looks like a balding, somewhat overweight middle aged man. 20 stone easy.
People still believe he is gonna fight Usyk
I DON'T

I doesn’t make a lot of sense to do it in two months time if it can be avoided. Although on a flipside a lot of the Fury camp seem seriously deluded. I see Solomon Dacres in Boxing News this week saying Fury looked great sparring him and Joseph Parker before Ngannou, and the fight was a big surprise. Whereas anyone with eyes sees thin arms, a fat barrel body, reduced power; a shot/nearly shot fighter.

No way Fury walks away from that money. I can see him delaying it, knowing the rearranged date, training for that and Usyk not finding out until closer to the night.

Saudis won't allow him to postpone.

Fury will turn up, unfortunately just for the money

If a doctor says he's injured, they will postpone.

I'm still half expecting him to pull out, probably at the point of no return for the fight going ahead. Some back injury or other.

We could have fake x-ray pictures and everything! John Fury saying it is a tragedy as he was in his best ever shape. We can see it all unfold on season two of his Netflix show.

It's a definite worry, that's for sure.
I think we can all agree he wasn't in very good shape in his last fight. And having this holiday and doing the social media and the reality TV as well.
Champions focus after a poor showing.

He might be doing the Holmes-Tyson thing of not training hard to have an excuse if he loses, either consciously or sub. Then he could say injuries have stopped him pushing himself for a long time, hence Ngannou. Or just relate the apparent truth that his body's okay but his heart isn't in it.

Or he doesn't intend to fight. Or he does, but plans to postpone with a fake injury when Usyk's peaking, forcing him to come down if he's post-cycle.

This isn't just about having a valid excuse for the WBC rule book, it's about collecting the money by keeping the Saudis happy.

I'm convinced fWank offered up Dubois to keep the Saudis happy when Fury pulled out of the December date they had arranged.

Usyk knows the games Fury plays, or tries to play, so he wouldn't accept a postponement that didn't suit him the most.

Fury will turn up. In what condition is anyone's guess. The guy is a disgrace to the sport and himself.

he did, he can have a drawn face and be flabby though so he's hard to tell I think. I get moon face as soon as my weight creeps higher than normal

I’ll stick with my 280 (20 stone) prediction earlier in the thread. Fury just carries a lot of weight in his gut now. If he’s not really bothering with road work anymore he’s going to be target practice here.

he is, although he does manage to be elusive even though when he is lardy.

Larry and an old 35, whereas Usyk is a young 37.

I thought Tyson would come in 19 stone ish, and Usyk I thought would be 221 again. So one a bit lighter, one a bit heavier.

Tyson is so naturally ecto-endomorphic, I am sure he is really fit but he has a typical Irish traveller bodytype (I say this as an Irish traveller who is naturally a bony potato).

Usyk looks strong and I think is going to try and stop Fury.

Yeah Fury never looks in great shape, he has little muscle mass or definition and looks flabby but it's not a body beautiful contest so means little as long as he's fit.
