Because if you travel through boxing history say 50 years at least either side of now, it will be people kinda like me talking about it.

I'm so hyped. Still can't believe they are actually fighting in the Tokyo Dome.
If you know the backstory, you know how important this fight is for japan.

If Nery actually wins, the whole Dome will go fxcking ballistic.

I doubt it. Never seen a set of more polite Boxing fans as the Japanese. I get the jist of what you are saying after everything that happened. He’s one lucky boy getting this fight but I guess the Japanese are feeding him to one man who will guarantee they will see Nery defeated. It’s as if he’s been extradited back to Japan to face his punishment

True.
I do think giving a guy like that a shot at the undisputed titles and a payday "as a punishment" kinda strange, though :D

What is the backstory? What is this Nery vs Japan thing??

Excited for this fight although it's another one that's not possible to watch in my country in any legal way... I hate searching for them dodgy streams...

I know that feeling. Missed so many fights just because it's a pain in the ass to find a stream.

Another close round, what you like ?

Akui coming forward hurting, Kuwahara picking off nicely from the backfoot. Akui on body language and menace for me.

nery is now a 12-1 underdog... Is that the biggest underdog ever for such a good oponent.

nery is 29 years old, fighting at arguably his best weight, and is boxrec p4p number 28.... yet the bookies have him looking like a 46 year old up 3 weights gatekeeper...

Add in nery being a decent puncher and those are some wild odds.

Odds like those should never be a thing with the highest ranked fighters. Not even if one is supposed to be one of the best ever.
Upsets are a thing and they happen all the time. Something that alot seem to forget.

I always expect an upset to happen in the fighting game. That's why I'm kinda nervous for Inoue, because I definitely don't want Nery to win.
