Seen Sky schedule for the next few months, it's a banging line up to tbf but it's because of Arum's shows, Boxxer have the Wardley/Clarke card on Saturday, Lauren Price in May and that's it

It’s the tax man that could be the injured party. Otherwise why pay cash in this day and age?Spud wrote: ↑27 Mar 2024, 06:53 With regards to the £80 k cash problem …
Boxxer seem to be happy with the transaction.
Buatsi seems to be happy with the transaction.
Majeed seems to be happy with the transaction.
Who is the injured party?
I will state again Mazhar Majeed is a damn good negotiator and he seems to making good money for his clients.
So debating this further, it seems we are
Prepared to overlook fighters getting cheated of a decision by judges dodgy scoring.
We continue to support fighters who are former drug cheats.
We seem to forget promoters who brag shows are sell outs … but in reality fans are being cheated out of their money having to buy tickets at vastly inflated prices from ticket companies.
Who is guilty
This isn’t someone who is squeaky clean. He served time for the biggest spot fixing scandal ever in cricket. Following his release he was jailed for tax fraud. He was also recorded saying that the only reason he bought a small football club was for money laundering.
With his kind of history people will make links when they see something unusual, like receiving £80,000 in cash.
No one said they were prepared to overlook dodgy decisions or drugs cheats.

If the £80k was paid as part of a BACS run then it’d cost 30p with Lloyds.Frostieballs wrote: ↑27 Mar 2024, 07:26I’m guessing the suggestion is that HMRC will be the injured party.Spud wrote: ↑27 Mar 2024, 06:53 With regards to the £80 k cash problem …

However, if everyone has declared the payment correctly and in its entirety, there is nothing illegal here.
Perhaps they don’t like paying bank fees.

The quality of shows this year has got better but they’re real infrequent. I think it’ll be 4 U.K. shows in the first 5 months of the year.handsofstone wrote: ↑27 Mar 2024, 09:05 Seen Sky schedule for the next few months, it's a banging line up to tbf but it's because of Arum's shows, Boxxer have the Wardley/Clarke card on Saturday, Lauren Price in May and that's it

Boxxer have a year to sort things out … the contract is due for renewal something like Jun 25. With regards Majeed it doesn’t have a good look. But boxing is hardly squeaky clean.Imaverick23 wrote: ↑27 Mar 2024, 10:33The quality of shows this year has got better but they’re real infrequent.
