its close, hovering somewhere around even. some rounds are hard to score cuz paro outworks matias for long stretches, but matias has bigger moments

I never see the 20 and 20ko as all that if they have a decision loss, cause that’s a fight they couldn’t get the ko… that said l, but lucky, I like paro and am wary of hypejobs, but I didn’t know enough about these guys to claim a skilled pick… haha.

matias is not a hype job, those guys were good enough that stopping them all is impressive (he stopped the guy who beat him before too). but liam paro boxed great today, was super fit (usually matias opponents gas quicker) and stood his ground when needed

His body language while the cards were being read was that of a beaten fighter. He knew he lost and he accepted it like a really good sport.

Thougroughly deserved win for Paro, glad they didn't stiff him, Paro was excellent set a high tempo and although Matias threatened to.come into things Paro stayed resilient and kept pushing our combinations, he couldn't hurt Matias but it don't matter Matias couldn't handle the volume he brought, Matias was poor, slow start as usual and couldn't get to grips of Paro, the point off Paro in the 7th was harsh but it didn't matter Matias couldn't capitalize, , Paro fought the fight of his life in a tough environment

I expected more from a guy everyone acts like is the boogeyman of the division.

GREAT WIN ,, But that ref needs to give himself a good talking too , The way he was constantly watching telling Paro off and finally the bullshit point off , his Bias was OBVIOUS to the extreme .

Firstly southpaw -- othordox , heads come close , Paro was stepping in but no more than Matias grabbing the head and pulling him in was 50-50 there , but the ref had eyes for Paro only , Nothings gonna throw you off your game plan more than a ref warning and taking points when you excecute it .

I really thought Paro deserved it but equally i was convinced he was gonna get shafted , so what a result , and BIG SHOUT OUT and Kudo's to the judges , they called it correct and were not awayed by the home boy , wish they were all like that ,

That ref had a problem with Paro and his team from the off. Needs to retire.

Paro deserved that win. Tough guy who left nothing behind, he gave it all he had.

the ref was strange, overly officious and harsh on paro in the first half or so, but then the last quarter let him hold a ton witthout even a warning. there was certainly enough there that a total homer ref out for points couldve acted on it. maybe he felt content having already deducted the point earlier for the phantom fouling
