6 losses, 5 world champs, Arthur, Khan, Morales, Crolla and Burns, fought anyone, seen him box William Warburton on Ronnie Clark's undercard years ago, glad I can say I seen him box live even if against a journeyman

rest it peace Willie. Was lovely to read the tributes from the boxing community. Thoughts with the chap's family.

Terrible - only 45, I wonder if there will be an autopsy? Can't help but wonder whether this was caused by his recent fights.
I think it's possibly a bit early to be conjecturing about possible causes, but I must admit I was a bit uncomfortable with the Burns fight (Ricky was younger, naturally bigger and he'd been fighting at a better level for his previous few fights) but I really can't understand why the Laws fight was signed and how the Board passed it.
Doesn’t bear thinking about what might happened had he fought again in a few weeks time.

Joe Laws has started a fundraiser for Willie's family, nice gesture from the lad.

The fund raise has already exceeded the £10,000.00 target (Willie's old opponent Amir Khan being one of the people donating)
Nice touch

Terrible news RIP
Can't really blame the recent fights unless more info comes out, Willie looked like a physical unit in the Burns fight, even though Burns ran through him
Willie was just one of those consumers pros

definitely a consummate professional was Willie. And a career and legacy to be very proud of.

Sad news.
Was actually insane when he clubbed over Khan.
