I know the weight was there , and Haney chose to take the fight anyway , , i would imagine it was something he would always do , just too much money involved , maybee the penalty for Gracia should of been more severe in the contract and legaly binding for both fighters , they forfeit say 50 -60% of there purse something that really makes them think twice .

But regards the peds well if your on them and know weight will be problematic you would factor the lost pay into the equation ,
