I remember around the third Riuz fight Holyfield was evaluated by a US court at about 180 million dollars when the court made him pay for one of his out of wedlock kids. So I doubt very much he is poor today.
Even if he lost half the money, he shoudt still be a big multi-millionaire.

I do not think it is the money that keeps him fighting. It is most likely the state of the heavyweight division. He looks around and sees padded records, fake champions, and many chinless fighters. So he thinks: heck, on a good night, with a bit of luck I make take a lot of these belt holders. So that is why he keeps fighting.

Look, I think he can take Brewster in a good night. Even Ruiz. but Byrd and Vitali have his number.

So let him fight a while in Europe before retiring.

But, if he loses to a guy like Sidon, I say, the federations should force him to retire.

Holyfield is done. I watched his last fight in full length. it was just horrible. he had no chance. how should he then beat Ruiz or Brewster? Irreal. Both would kill him.

This doesn't surprise me. I can see Holyfield travelling the world until he gets banned from every country in the universe.
