No we def don't know each other! Having the ticket deal means you are the home fighter so you had the fights. But thanks for the clarification.
Anyway, well done, you did tear up the script and hopefully you will get some more good work and some wins.
Do you think they will take the rematch?
If you got 12 weeks notice could you get back down to middle?
Why would he even try? He didn’t look small at 175 and fought great at a good pace.
More options, I guess he is looking for the biggest fights out there

The biggest fight out there, by some distance, is the rematch with Whittaker.

He looked good at the weight and fought at a pace too so even if he could make 160, he may not be able to perform as well there.

Of course that, but Shalom is already talking about Whittaker needing warm up fights for the rematch etc
If that fight doesn't come you want to maximise your options

If Whittaker isn't going back in with an immediate rematch then Liam doesn't want to be sitting on his arse.

Now he's with FW maybe he'll get the Willy Hutchison comeback bout. Or am I over reaching there?

Cameron , hit hard and hit often , something a show pony does'nt like , he stuck on him and let him know win , lose or draw it was gonna be a hard night in the office for Quitiker .

Now we will get to see the real character of Whittaker , is he gonna give a rematch , or is he gonna bottle it , was all the bravado , show boating and taking the piss out off his previous opponents to try drum up publicity for himself , or was it always the case of a bully getting matched easier than he should and then showing he's nothing but a bully .

Well for me the first time he met someone who was strong and good enough to take his shot and say , that all ya got hear have a couple of mine , his character come out .

So is Quiiker gonna dog a rematch or take one straight away .

More so is Shalom gonna panic and talk warm up fights before a rematch , any of the two happen , Freeze him out go get other fights with Franks backing that could happen now and stuff Quitiker , let him fight before his home town crowd for 200 quid , because i think his days of going places are finished , UNLESS he rematches and shows up to fight a classic , British crowds are forgiving IF you prove yourself

Why warm up fights for Whitaker before rematch

Shalom talking like Whitaker be rematching Liam Cameron for the undisputed world titles.

Truth is the fight ended because of injury, and Whitaker won't even be hard sparring until his back (or whatever he is claiming he injured) is 100%. ... Unless of course Whitaker did fake the injury because he realised he wasn't at level to beat Liam Cameron, and needs to build to that level before rematching??

Yes.
Ben seemed to be enjoying himself early on, but suddenly "wasn't right" - Andy Clarke commed on it @ the time.
I watched it back looking for a sneaky shot not seen, but couldn't find it, but he something happened to him.
Interesting to know if Liam himself felt it, but appreciate he won't wanna answer that.

I@m echoing this thread and the forum in general - Liam's ban was cruel and stupid, it's great how he's come back. I hope the rematch (and more?) earns him good money. It's a big main event fight now, or Saudi chief support ! :bag:

Nevertheless if you are on a ticket deal, while it's a bitch to sell tickets, it's still a promotional deal, you are still the home fighter with a picked opponent.

Obviously a non ticket promotional deal is better

Ben can comeback in a make or break fight against Tommy Fury and then rematch Liam if he comes through that test

Has anyone seen a single interview with Whittaker since the Saudi show? his silence is telling a story.

I heard he's gone to live with John Fury , hidden away in a caravan , in a forest north of Morcombe

They're keeping him in the hospital until they can work out where exactly his ankle got injured. Or until he gets a cash-out fight, whichever comes first

The lad done very well and was good to see him put it on Whittaker.

I think Whittaker was losing a bit of heart as he cracking Cameron as hard as he could, which was tiring him out, and was not making a dent.

The 'injury' was a bit bizarre and confusing as none of Whittaker's ankles clattered into anything, that I could see, from the various angles. He might have hit his head and concussed himself, a bit (being generous),

Cameron was keen to go despite Whittaker falling on top of him. Not convinced that Whittaker was particularly injured, more that he was tired, landed his best and still had 5 rounds to go.

Good luck to both of them but don't hold your breath for an immediate rematch, imo.

Yeah I would be absolutely amazed if the rematch happened any time soon. Whittaker will drop back down a level for a few fights, under the guise of regaining sharpness after the 'injury' and will be praying Cameron loses at some point in the interim.

If the rematch doesn't happen - and Liam is fully up for it- you can't have a lot, if any respect for Benny Q.
He got tired, he was getting it put on him, he found a way out and lied his way to a NC. The scene where he chased that fan trying to break his phone the next day shows all you need to see about how injured his ankle was.
