So he’s been acting all normal whilst she’s been in the nick? Weird….
I’ve never had a partner in prison but my father was inside on off all my life, I just used to swerve it and say he worked away, maybe he’s just told everyone she’s working on the rigs! Hell of a change as her ‘business’ was spray tanning. She’s Guna be pale in 4 years
  No fake tan in the nick
I remember my uncles plugging some very interesting things when they used to visit my father, so perhaps there is hope with the right visitors, Tanya will keep her tan...

I think U.K. tv fighters started to be paid more than their commercial worth when Eddie went to DAZN and Shalom came to Sky.

Guys like Whittaker and Frazer Clarke (even Lauren Price) turned over at the perfect time to benefit from it and their guarantees are apparently massive. Hence why neither have been too active and the quality of the opposition has mostly been poor/cheap.
Boxxer put all these olympians on superstar money from the outset but then also acted like they were superstars, as if big walkouts and a load of promoter hype were going to convince the public these were big names.

Didn't work and now they're stuck with big guarantee payments to people who don't sell tickets and don't bring tv eyeballs. Hence you've not seen eg Karriss Artingstal for god knows how long.

Full orchestra walkouts for whittaker as he makes his way to the ring to collect his 100k for showboating vs a binman only to have his reputation absolutely shredded by Cameron shortly afterwards.

Lots of talk online that Boxxer had/has cashflow problems and that's why they weren't doing shows for ages at a time, or doing small shows with 5-6 fights in them.

Saudi may have been a lifeline for them and they may also get lucky and make some money from bakole.

Rest of the stable is going nowhere in ppv terms.

Whittaker will be on a more than £100k a fight I think. Hence why they haven’t had him too active and his opponents have been cheap.

I’d be surprised if they have cashflow problems as their incomings will be pretty easy to predict (set amount from Sky and their gate receipts should be fairly easy to predict). I just think they can’t do loads of shows because they don’t have the space in their budget.

The landscape of boxing could change a fair bit in the next 6 months with Boxxer/Top Rank broadcast deals finishing and Frank leaving TNT.

I doubt Saturday's Boxxer show cost much to put together. Be interesting to see what sort of business the March 7 womens show does

Yeah - the only real cost will be in the main event. The undercard is poor.

If they've got a set budget annually from Sky (who I assume pay out in tranches) and most events are heavily papered rather than selling, I reckon their margins are tight or in the red.

And the thing is, shows and purses is only part of the expenditures. Media events, travel, staffing etc. Plus the Sunday Times report had some "consultancy" company that Shalom was paying himself commission to for every boxer he signed to Boxxer or something.

They've got no meaningful paid tv outside of Sky - the Peacock NBC thing in the US is just another network owned by Comcast, the Sky owner.

Sponsorship doesnt seem to be up to much either. So I can see their income not meeting their expenditures. There was also a post on another forum showing Companies House records for Boxxer where they were taking out secured loans from Coutts bank.

If whittaker is more than 100k, wow

Ticket sales and tv viewership will be dire, is my guess.

"Fans complain all the time about women's fights. Let's do a full card of them."

I think it's a ploy aimed at getting DEI-fixated senior Sky execs to renew Boxxer contract.

Now that is a question I don’t think we ever want to investigate the answer to!

Good performance from Visioli, he seems to just glide, very impressive.

Sunny is a busy bee after fighting, was on comms on Before the Bell then corner work for Visioli. I think he’ll earn well after retirement

Visioli very humble in his interview after, speaks well and even gave credit to the opponent too. I’m a fan of this fighter.
