Garcia stepped on the New York State Athletic Commission scale at a career-high 146.8 pounds for his 12-round welterweight fight against Rolando “Rolly” Romero on Friday night in Times Square. Romero came in at 146.6 pounds

Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs, 1 NC), Henderson, Nevada, 143 pounds vs. Jose Ramirez (29-2, 18 KOs), Avenal, California, 143.8, 12 rounds, welterweights. Their fight was contracted at a catchweight of 144 pounds.

Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs), Las Vegas, 139.6 pounds vs. Arnold Barboza Jr. (32-0, 11 KOs), El Monte, California, 139.8 pounds, 12 rounds for Lopez’s Ring and WBO junior welterweight titles.

Reito Tsutsumi (pro debut), Narashino, Japan, TBA vs. Levale Whittington (1-2-1, 1 KO), Chicago, 127.8 pounds, 6 rounds, junior lightweights.

EDITOR’S NOTE: A special “Battle of the Badges” amateur attraction will be the first of five fights streamed by DAZN on pay-per-view. Joel Allen (NYPD) is set to face James Gennari (FDNY) in that 3-round bout.

Happy days I wouldn't mind staying up for it but I've no chance, I'll get Lopez/Barboza hopefully, 11 o'clock is doable

Didn’t see it but heard Garcia was crap, he doesn’t live the life so not surprised, reminds me of Broner, talented but more interested in fame, money, women than boxing. Benn would fancy his chances after seeing that.

Haney looked gunshy , got a victory on the back foot running away afraid to commit just jab run , rinse and repeat.. Garcia started off ok got dropped straight away , and shown without the peds he's got nothing at that weight . Romero scared him off

Always thought Garcia was overrated. This defeat is quite embarrassing for him tbf.

It's amazing what's PEDs can do for a fighter, strips away their confidence as well as their talent, Romero is honking and truth be told was trash last night himself, maybe Turki needs to respect the actual world champion on his shows, no way Lopez should've been third fiddle,
