i didnt even see the compubox numbers during the fight, though looking at them now they seem about right. farmer just had spots of offense between zepeda mauling him as he stumbled around and tried to hold. take away zepada's body shots and maybe then it's closehandsofstone wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 10:55Looked close to me and plenty other folk by all accounts, I couldn't make a case for Farmer winning, reckon 116-112 Zepeda is ok, as for punch stats, just a fella pushing buttons, I take no notice of them unless I can use them to bolster my own argument, Zepeda did have some good moments I'm no disputing that but I you score round by roundmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 10:20farmers defense didnt look that hot to me, massively outlanded, especially with the body shots. at times farmer ripped with 4, 5, of them a rowhandsofstone wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 05:21 Gotta say I had it a draw as well 114-114, just wasn't that impressed by Zepeda, obviously brought volume, targeted the body but didn't look as effective as he usually looks, Farmer doing his elbow in the 2nd was a nightmare, looked in serious distress and had moments where he was just running away looking about to get stopped but Farmer's heart is massive and he picked some clean counters while making Zepeda miss a lot, I had it even midway then Zepeda pulling away but I gave Farmer the last 3 to get a draw, no qualms with Zepeda getting it, it was what you prefer, Zepeda's pressure and volume with Farmer's defense and punch picking, another good fight but surprised a lot of you had Zepeda wide
although if you count clinches as punches too then maybe it was closer
tbh i think even 5 rounds for farmer is quite generous, but we all see things different ways of course

Appreciate the honesty

FWIW I watched it today and thought it wasn't close.
Farmer did amazing and he was winning the fight clearly if you counted overcoming adversity , but you don't.
He won hearts but few rounds

farmers defense didnt look that hot to me, massively outlanded, especially with the body shots. at times farmer ripped with 4, 5, of them a row
although if you count clinches as punches too then maybe it was closer
tbh i think even 5 rounds for farmer is quite generous, but we all see things different ways of course

116-112 Zepeda on my card. I'd go 19-13 before I could see 15-13.
