I bet Usyk isn't. After what he went through last time with Del he'll be praying for a DDD win
 you will bait people in with that line for the rest of your life.
Imagine if Chisora somehow beat DDD, perhaps through injury got a shot at Usyk again and landed a hail Mary shot to become undisputed.....

What would be the odds?

Regardless he earned an absolutely cracking amount for someone with double digit losses.

This stinks.

It’s certainly immoral / possibly corrupt.

And it’s dangerous.

I’m not a fan of the Saudi takeover or Dana White - but if this is the alternative they may as well have at it.

'Hardcore' boxing fans like us are the biggest mugs of them all when you think about it. 'Casuals' lap up the reheated slop they are served by greedy promoters but at least they are ignorant and get to sing Sweet Caroline and Hotel California.

Us idiots actually think boxing might one day be about the best fighting the best rather than just the cash grab it's always been.

Honestly if Dubois fighting Chisora means that Usyk fights Parker instead of Dubois again in a rematch, I'm for it. Dubois isn't a World Champion to me he's just another Contender. So a fight between him and Chisora for who's one of the Top Contenders in the division. I have no problem with that. I don't think Chisora has any chance, but I've thought that before and been wrong so we'll see.

Should be some good action.

If Chisora wins, do we get Chisora vs Kabayel 2 for the belt?

if Chisora beats Dubois, I think Chisora vs Fury 4 is the only logical option

I wouldn't call Chisora a journeyman, but he is a gatekeeper and always has been.

He's a great yardstick for fighters to test whether they're ready for the big time.
Yes. Gatekeeper is the best term

Yh he was never a journeyman.

Now Kevin Johnson is a journeyman. He just gives rounds. Doesn’t want to win.

Me too.

I'd be doubled up on the floor laughing like a Smash Martian.

I'd laugh even more if he decides to defend the title against Tyson Fury, with a rematch clause.

And THAT my freind is a very very good point , Oh how easy it is to forget , the mismatches we used to get under the guise of building a fighter up , ect ect and all the other associated bullshit , How good its been recently , and then DD pulling out with a mysterious little toe ache , too all of a sudden getting better and calling out the guy he ducked , when its already arranged for him to fight the guy he'll beat .

He might actually lose against Del Boy.
If Chisora really wants to win, he can bang a bit and take a shot if needed.
I'm still not convinced they are actually doing this, and I bet Turki isn't keen on bankrolling it, doesn't seem his style.

The last person Chisora stopped was David Price in 2019.

He has not competed at anywhere near world level in his last outings - and has shipped a lot of damage.

Should have retired after Joyce - a horrible spectacle.

Anyone promoting this should be prepared to help with Chisora’s future medical bills.

Anything can happen in boxing. But taking into account all the factors we are aware of, this fight shouldn’t be happening.

If we played this out 100 times, it ends badly 99 of them. It’s a terrible precedent.

That's great, the Smash martian reference, going to have to steal that for the great library of similies.

It's highly unlikely, Chisora is very slow these days, and has never been hard to hit.

Most likely dubois smashes him inside 3 rounds, if not sooner.

Would love to be wrong though, this is a really cynical matchup

I was half joking, and honestly I wouldn't mind seeing it play out like that.

Tyson Fury will always be a bigger draw than Dubois or Chisora, so it'd be good for Heavyweight boxing to have him back in the title picture.

I would also like for him to retire, but for health reasons.

If he continues, he's going to end up brain damaged as he's too tough and brave for his own good.
