It does sort of fit the MO, old retired or semi retired. With careful matching Connor can fight on for years, with just the one defeat

I hope they don't fight again. As good as the first fight (unexpectedly) was I don't think Benn has the beating of Eubank unless age & weight play a major part - which they will - and the last thing we need is Eubank getting damaged because he's not allowed to rehydrate properly.

Not sure where Chris goes from here. He has a habit of drifting not capitalising on momentum for whatever reasons.

As for Benn, a quick warm up to see if he can make 147 again then a fight against Ryan Garcia is a battle of the people who definitely didn't use PEDs.

I didn't see the fight and don't speak for the fans but I'm a fairly casual boxing fan and I don't want to see a rematch! Chris, fight for a belt before you're too old.

Think that ships sailed now. Obvious a struggle to make MW so he’d be back up at 168. He couldn’t win a belt there when he was in prime, no chance now. Plus belts with canelo, Crawford next.

Because he is a lot older now and nearly bloody killed himself making the weight. The first fight should never have been sanctioned. I said it before and I'll say it again. Everybody involved in this circus should be ashamed of themselves. Eubank was dead at the weight,he had nothing in the tank. Benn had all the advantages in his favour and still came up short. Enough said.

Did he nearly kill himself making the weight? If so how did he not die in his last few fights when he came in a few pounds lighter than he came in for this one.

It was a disadvantage to him, but getting a guy to drain down to the same exact weight class he's already been competing in isn't exactly the gigantic hurdle it's being made out as.

I think the rehydration clause had an extra impact.

It's an early negotiation tactic for the rematch

Gives it the big one about the weight, the board will prob stop this clause getting put on

Eubank gets the rematch without having to boil down in weight
