Only a week and a bit to go. I’m still hopeful of a Whyte pull out and Hrgovic being moved up to the main event. Got to be a much better fight.

I can't see that eventuality.
Whyte is the perfect patsy for Moses.
Hrg is way too dangerous at this early stage.

I'm trying to make a case for Adeleye, but he such a low output, I don't see him tiring Hrgovic out.

Adeleye does a Conor Benn & loses on points, after a war, but gains respect for his in the ring effort.

Hrgovic lets the punches go and Adeleye won't be able to do anything other than spoil and hope for a punch from the gods.

Is Adeleye going under the radar here a bit? There’s interviews with everyone it seems, but him and Adam Booth are laying low.

The bookies rightly have Filip a big favourite, but I like Adelaide, he puts it on the line, talks a lot and he’s got the confidence, even if it might be misplaced. Plus he’s a local boy. I’ve put a bet on him - accumulator with the other three favourites, Moses Ball and Ford.

I’m not a big fan, but Adam booth is a canny operator. I wouldn’t be surprised if he sees a winning strategy here.. I don’t know if he’s gone with the fight because he likes it ( which is good for me ) or because they just can’t turn down the turki money ( in which case i’m f*cked ) Either way he’ll have a good game plan - I wouldn’t be surprised to see his man try and box to a points win here, cause Hrgovic is very durable… should be a good one.

Adam said Adeleye has nothing to lose. If he wins, suddenly he's on the world stage, if he loses, he's got a big bag of money and is back to British level.

I just don't think David has the work rate to worry him.

I don't rate him above British level, and that's where the top 10 wouldn't fight for it as they are hoping for bigger things.
Wouldn't beat Dave Allen

Yeah I can’t argue with either of those views, I’m clearly biased because I like him. A cold eyed view and you’ve gotta go with the other guy. I like the big punchers, but he’s not really built for this one. Anyway, maybe he can turn into Pernell Whitaker for 10 rounds. He’d beat Dave Allen.

I like big Fil too, Nice guy, very funny

Have you watched the Adeleye vs TKV fight for the British?
Because that's probably where the bookies are judging this from.
I mean, that was a low level fight even for the British. :maybe:

Hirgovic should be too much for him.

Geniunely think Hirgovic can come again and possibly be the 2nd best Heavyweight in the world. He was in large parts outboxing DDD. Talent is there.

If he cannot beat Adeleye though he might as well forget it.

I don't blame you!
It was on in NZ early Sunday morning and even I was drowsy afterwards.
But to go from TKV to Hrg, who has the chin that was blasted by DDD, and double the work rate of TKV. Well it's no wonder the odds are with Hrg.

Adeleye has a temper and throws single shots with not much of a jab.. he will try to fight fire with fire and get put on his arse imo.

Hrgovic is very good at high punch output for his size and he's also got some good power in both hands.

Adeleye came in at his career-heaviest weight as he broke the 240lbs barrier for the first time. He was 240lbs 5oz ahead of their 10-round encounter.

I put a wild accumulator on including the underdogs but this is the only one where I can't see the underdog winning in any way at all.
