I thought this too, he really does sound slurred and it felt like he paused and was waiting to recalibrate at times during the interview. I can’t remember how he used to sound but he definitely sounded punchy which alarmed me. He looks healthy and fit but he sounded very much less so.

I wondered too, I know he was not the brightest so you never know if they blew their money, I hope he hasn't. I really do not think he is meant to be fighting at 39 with 6 years out the ring and dodgy speech, I hope I am wrong and he is fine.

I'm not mad keen on bare knuckle fighting full stop. Boxing is dangerous enough as it is. I hope all the fighters are getting very well paid and come out unscathed.

Not sure why DeGale is the big favourite on the odds.
Not fought for six years versus an active fighter. Plenty of retired decent boxers have lost BK fights.

Dec Spelman made his debut but got knocked out.
Jack Fincham, Love Island winner quit on his stool after getting put down in the first and again in the second. Didn't come out for the 3rd. Was beaten by Aaron Chalmers from Newcastle who was 1-0 before this fight.
