thats good for dan, unfortunetly hes already been knocked out twice by usyk though. he came back from the first loss with several good wins too
After losing every single round in both fights.
The last fight was last year, when Usyk was 38..
There is literally no argument for this rematch.
Usyk can't even become undisputed again.

The winner of Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua 'in my opinion is on course to collide with Daniel Dubois. And? Of course I am backing Joshua to beat Fury via knockout'.

Note: I don't actually think Tyson Fury would want to fight Daniel Dubois 'Fury hypothetically would most likely, apply pressure to Oleksandr Uysk for a trilogy fight'.

As I have stated before, I would back both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in rematch to beat Dubois 'I have always referred to Dubois's win over Joshua as a statistically anomaly. Joshua was caught early, but even while severely concussed he was slowly but surely turning the fight around. Until he eventually made another unforced error, leaping into Dubois while throwing a lead uppercut'.

It was just a poor fight from Anthony Joshua strategically, and he made too many unforced errors 'I don't think this would happen in a rematch'.

Daniel Dubois is a legitimate world Champion 'and world level fighter. But skill for skill, I still don't rate him as an elite level fighter. And when we see him in against a true elite level fighter on form, that is when the boxing community will see Dubois under pressure and being asked big questions etc.

If you think Dubois doesn't win a rematch with Joshua even easier than he won their 1st fight you haven't been paying attention to their careers.

I'd give Joshua virtually zero chance of beating Dubois in a rematch.

Usyk is well past his prime at 38 or 39 which is normal this was all revealed in his fight vs Verhoven, maybe Usyk could come up with one more great fight but why, he is past his prime time to hang them up.

In Order I have

Dubois
Kaybel
Hrgovic
Itauma

as the main Heavyweights now.

Beating Usyk is still more important than beating any of those other guys until Usyk officially retires. It'd be interesting if we had another Mike Tyson and Michael Spinks type situation come along again where somebody beats Usyk on the way out and somebody else unifies all 4 of the belts, and we have an Undisputed Champion and a Lineal Champion at the same time. That almost never happens, but the division being all splintered up the way it is now is the kinda landscape where that can happen.

I like Dubois (he's from SE London like all the hardest bastards) but I have no interest in seeing him fight Usyk a 3rd time.

If he wins it's because Usyk is now well past it & if he loses again it's just bloody embarrassing.

I do t think there's a world where Usyk Vs Dubois 3 Is necessary. Realistically, Usyk should already be retired. Even if Dubois beat Kabayel, Hrgovic, Itauma, Opetaia, Benavidez, Jalolov and whoever else, Usyk will be well past it and should be retired.

Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua 'is the fight to decide the number 2 heavyweight on the planet. So? The winner of that fight in my opinion is the biggest and best next fight for Daniel Dubois'.

Note: And I believe out of Fury and Joshua 'only Anthony Joshua will be game to fight Dubois'.

I don't think Fury stylistically likes or excels at fighting Super Heavyweights 'especially those with basic fundamentals and power. He has been dragged into his latest fight vs. Anthony Joshua'.

Note: Daniel Dubois is a legitimate world champion 'but I have always stated? He will either win in spectacular fashion, or lose in spectacular fashion it is only a matter of time'.

For all of his strength, aggressiveness and power 'skill for skill I don't rate him as an elite level fighter' etc.

Can we ban rematches in the heavyweight division.
Let's have a moratorium.

The 'fans' will watch any old hyped up crappie but please let's end the talk of Usyk v Dubois 3 or Fury joshua 3.

Paint drying is more entertaining than those fights

Isn't a trilogy warranted only if the score is 1-1, like ALi-Frazier or Holyfield-Bowe?
What we have with Usyk-Dubois are two one sided fights, the second one even more so. If we have to have a rematch, at least make it Dubois-Hrgovic.

Normally I'd agree but Dubois is 4-0 against top 5 heavyweights after his losses against Usyk. Fury and Joshua haven't racked up any good wins recently. Kabayel who I prefer next for Usyk also has had a weak 2026. How often in the modern era do you see the #2 guy in the division lose twice to the #1 guy as badly as Dubois and still keep his place on the top. Nowadays fighters get discouraged after losing their 0 and stay inactive. Or they have several soft touches as comeback opponents. Dubois hasn't taken the easy path after his losses to Usyk.

Dubois lost to him twice. He's had his shots at Usyk. The path to being Champion for him now runs through the other guys with belts. By the time he's fought all those guys Usyk will be out of the picture.

Yep. His goal should be to be the best of this era, not to keep trying at an old Usyk until he becomes too old so that he can incorrectly claim that he was the best of the last one too.

By the way has Usyk vs Dubois 3 been mentioned anywhere outside of this forum? I haven't heard any promoter or either of the fighters suggest it. So why are we?

Itauma has talked about the result of this fight dictating what he decides to do next. I think he will.
Loking forward to it :box: :box: :box:

This is the one we want the most.

3rd chance for that idiot Ben Davison to try to get his fighter to keep his hands up against the DDDD onslaught.

Dirty Dynamite Daniel Dubois is no stranger to using low blows and headbutts when things aren't going his way.

Triple knee is certainly a handful for anyone who can't move or use their jab to keep him at bay.

And it's not much good trying to "Roll the Dice" once you've already been concussed by his ramrod jab.

As long as DDDD can keep beating up Ben "Dr Feelgood" Davison trained boxers he'll continue to look good.

How has Davison made over £4 million when he can't teach his guys to keep their guards up - the first thing any novice is told when they first step into the ring?

Even everyone's favourite professional amateur Dave
Allen manages to do that much.

Does anyone even know what happens in a Ben Davison training session other than a possible ego boosting prep talk?

Dubois, to his credit, came back better from his losses to Usyk each time.

And so did Joshua.

That's the benefit of a high quality boxing lesson from one of the sport's true masters.

They always say he "Brings things back to basics" and they all seem to become very basic with holes in their game, before he throws in the towel each time. If this was any other industry I'd say he's an industry plant but each of these boxers are choosing him each time. I wonder if he takes a smaller cut and gets them that way?
