Talking of weight gain/loss, does anyone remember Zack Padilla?

He was a Lightweight contender from LA, had a loss & drifted out of boxing. Gained over 100 pounds in weight then decided to return to boxing 5 years later. Came back as a Light Welter & never lost another fight. Beat some decent fighters too & set a compubox record with Ray Olivares. Over 3,000 combined punches thrown. Ended up winning the WBO belt.

Funny, I thought it was about 15 years ago but just looked at his record & it was the 80s & 90s

Underrated and forgotten boxer is Padilla, wasn't flashy just hard to beat, good CV of Page, Mayweather, Gonzalez , Calamati and only person to stop Laporte
