I was driving on the motorway this morning and must admit the crash aftermath video popped into my head a few times along the way. Definitely encouraged me to stick to the speed limit.

I saw a clip of it by mistake, it was on Twitter - the first minute was literally just showing AJ being helped from the car in pain so just thought that was it, until it suddenly panned over showing the aftermath in the middle of the road. If I’d known in advance what it would show, I’d never have clicked on it

tbf, a lot of crazy sh!t is planted mid feed or among othewise innocuous content and just pops up, you dont need to specifically search out the unedited versions. its hard to be on the internet for as many years as i have without seeing loads of gore and porn

though i dont doubt lots of people are just trying to exploit the situation, there are whole industries based on exposing peoples misfortunes

Same here I got it sent through Whatsapp, I hadn't watched anything that had come up on Twitter, I assumed it was just AJ getting videoed in distress, never knew the corpses were that visible and graphic, one thing every country has in common is that no matter where this happened, the same clips would be doing the rounds

Anthony Joshua remains in a Nigerian hospital recovering from the car crash that killed two of the British boxer's close friends.

Joshua's personal trainer, Kevin 'Latif' Ayodele, and strength and conditioning coach, Sina Ghami, died on Monday when the car they were travelling in collided with a stationary vehicle on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Social media footage showed the two-time heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medallist grimacing in pain as he was helped from the wreckage.

Joshua, who sustained "minor injuries" in the fatal crash, remains in a Lagos hospital under observation in a stable condition.

The extent of the 36-year-old's injuries are yet to be confirmed and it remains unclear when Joshua will be discharged.

Joshua's family express 'great shock'

Joshua, who has Nigerian heritage, was in the country celebrating his recent fight against Jake Paul.

After a 15-month absence from the ring, Joshua had marked his return with a sixth-round knockout win over the YouTuber-turned-boxer in Miami on December 19.

Residents of Sagamu in Ogun State, where Joshua's relatives live, expressed their shock at Monday's events.

Adedamola Joshua, the uncle of Anthony Joshua's father, told The Associated Press: "All the people are very close with him (Anthony Joshua) and he is very free among the people. So it was a great shock for us."

Oluwatoyin Omoleye, a resident of Sagamu, said he was "so sad because Anthony was coming home to celebrate with our people here."

They shouldn’t even be called phones anymore, actual phone calls must make up less than 1% of usage. Basically just mini super computers now. Don’t get me wrong, I would have loved one as a kid / teenager so can’t blame youngsters for using them, but definitely create a lot of issues.

Yep, plus you could have a good old straightener after school by the local shops and could deny it afterwards if anyone grassed. These days, 50 kids would be livestreaming it on their phones to Facebook!

True. 30 years ago things happened and you moved on. Today it's filmed and kept.

I once saw a sickening video of a young girl maybe 14 or 15 being bullied into a fight she clearly didnt want.

The instigators friends joined in and they gave her a hideous hiding for a good two minutes whilst dozens egged them on screaming and filming.

This poor girl was eventually dragged away literally by a passr by, a bloody pulp half naked.. The video was then posted across social media

I remember thinking how such an experience would affect that girl for the rest of her life and what a bunch of worthless animals parts of society had become. The thought of that happening to one of my daughters is frightening
