Ajagba didn't throw many touches in the first 2 and a half rounds.
Looked like was searching for that ko punch from the start
Well, I suppose he was just having a look at him?
He was always going to get rid of Charles Martin. Well, he should do.
Let's see him in with someone good again.
I'd like to see him with dubois or wardley and see how his chin is

They're in with each other.
How about him against Kabayel if Usyk is fighting a voluntary next? I like that fight.

Kellerman now with the company man shilling.
"Ajagba is the biggest heavyweight puncher in the world!"
Not even close, mate.

I like that fight, but if I was a contender kayabel is one I would avoid unless it was huge money

Did he drop him or just stop him on his feet?

So the female host is saying Zuffa has an upcoming announcement that they have signed 3 big American names at heavyweight, including a "former champion."
One would assume that's Andy Ruiz being lined up for Usyk's voluntary?

He dropped him twice but it was a standing stoppage.

Sweet. I figured it'd be something like that. Solid win for Ajagba. Probably the last time Martin can be of any use.
Maybe Martin vs Joe Joyce if both of them insist on fighting once more?
As for Ajagba a bout with Richard Torrez would be interesting. Maybe a rematch with Bakole? How about a fight with a returning Joseph Parker?
Any of those seem like interesting options to me. Not sure what would be the most feasible.

I watched whole card on youtube. Enjoyed majority of fights.

Good job Zuffa boxing, looking forward to next one. They need to put it somewhere with more audience

Are there even three big American names at heavyweight?? Wilder, Miller, Ruiz and Torrez are the most known but saying they're all big names is a stretch

Hasn't actually knocked anyone flat in 5 years. This is his first TKO win in his last 3 fights and only his second in his last 6. Just need to compare his 70% KO rate to Wardley and Dubois' 95% against better opposition to know that's

not to mention the likes of Joshua and Zhang

I think they’ve kept it at Apex for first few shows to get a feel. I mean.. they own the place so it’s not costing them extra to put a show on there.
How may do they get in there? Few hundred? Less?
They can do 5k at smaller Vegas arenas..
Or them small Indian Resort casinos.

They claim up to 1,000 in there now but I think it's probably 500-800. It used to be about 50 originally but they've made it more fit for purpose that it used to be with the one set of benches.

Zuffa production values were very good. It didn't freeze or buffer like DAZN.
Pundits: Antonio Tarver, Andre Ward, Max Kellerman, all very knowledgeable guys and there was the obvious shilling, that's standard in boxing these days isn't it? I mean, even the token 'good looking woman' on the team seemed to know what she was actually talking about and was better than Adam 'nails on a blackboard' Smith on her own.
I only caught the main two fights and that was only because I couldn't sleep and pulled out the laptop, knowing it was on and I don't have to go into work until the afternoon. Early on Monday morning in the UK for a 'big fight' (which, if we're being honest, this wasn't) doesn't seem smart business.
But it was a decent enough product. And free for me!

I suppose you could throw Michael Hunter and Jared Anderson in there? All US heavyweights seem to struggle with motivation, maybe because most of them seem like guys who would probably have been playing football if they were good enough or didn't suffer some sort of injury that halted that career?
Call me cynical, but aren't UFC athletes allowed to test positive for quite a massive test level? Ajagba being his heaviest ever and still looking like an African God and the fleshy stoner Martin suddenly looking in shape and wearing a pair of shorts that actually fit him seems a little fishy to me... I wouldn't be surprised if all these US lads start coming in looking in the best shape of their lives and performing surprisingly well

Michael Hunter signing for Zuffa would be exactly the story of decision Michael Hunter would make. Can see one being him.

I thought Martin started off well, both were having success with the back hand but Martin countering really well with his southpaw left, Ajagba found the opening in the 3rd though, big right hand sent Martin down hard, he just about made it out of the round, he got sloppy next round trying to exchange with Ajagba and got drilled with 3 right hands, the last one putting him down, Ajagba followed up landing clean punches when it was stopped, I thought initially it was a tad early but seeing the replays, Martin was taking all the shots clean

Undercard fighters taking performance of night and fight of the night bonuses. Seems like Dana White isnt that greedy, that kind of bonuses motivate fighters IMO. I really like this Zuffa fights

Are those fighters signing with Zuffa exclusively gonna do in-house fights?
