I think I read he had an operation on his hand and this is why he’s been out?

Terrible series of events for the poor guy, hope he gets some good luck soon.Controversial wrote: ↑21 Oct 2026, 15:17Coldwell posted this todayJamesPhilips wrote: ↑21 Oct 2026, 11:34I think I read he had an operation on his hand and this is why he’s been out?
“Worst luck out of anyone I’ve ever trained. Hand operated on three months after the fight. Bone from hip into hand. Caused hip issues & lack of movement in his left foot. Had an accident that smashed same foot/ankle. When he came back just had no balance and would fall over when hitting me on the pads or even sometimes walking. Been trying ever since to solve the problem and eventually found treatment that seems to have worked & given him balance back. Getting stronger each month but is still a mile off fighting again. Obviously has to work to make ends meet so we can only see what happens in the future. Pretty much a brief rundown but no point in talking about fighting until he’s anywhere near it. Literally destroyed the kids dreams so not something he’s wanting to speak publicly about, it’s been very tough for him.”
Bit like the Cuban, Arlen Lopez.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑Yesterday, 12:03 Mark Petrovsky.
Top Russian who as an amateur, won gold at World champs as super heavy, turned pro, unbeaten in 7, went back to amateurs but hasn’t boxed since 2024.

Yeah, I really hope there is a way back for him. Looked very talented while he was active.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑21 Oct 2026, 15:56 its a shame with hope price, he was obviously very promising, seemed to be finding some strength and spite just before it all went downward too
