You have to make Shields a favourite should they fight.

Pineiro is an odd one. Seems to get dispirited but then has a word with herself and suddenly puts the pedal down for a full minute.

A coach needs to get her to work on her foot work / foot speed.

Very wide scores but probably correct on a purely RBR basis. Definitely one of those fights where the scorecards don’t tell the full story. Thought Price could have won it a lot more easily if didn’t get dragged into a scrap.

Fast paced fight for British title featherweight title.

Yes, Powah pushed forward all night but his accuracy was shite & not that much in his punches...and what a dirty little bastard ! That referee couldn't have warned Powah any more times than he did, but not a single point deducted :brick:

The classier and more accurate punches came from Edwards. The scoreline and result reflected the contest. Robbery ? Oh, please !

Nah there’s no way Powah won fewer rounds than Edwards. It was a blatant hometown decision, you could tell as much from the post-fight reactions.

Had Edwards/Powar a draw as well, competitive scrap but neither guy gets passed domestic level imo, it was quality or quantity, Edwards was quicker out the traps, switching stances, jabbing and moving, Powar is as fit as a fiddle though and didn't stop punching, he has zero power, a lot of shoeshine punches, didn't impress me much but in the second half he just overwhelmed Edwards with his output, Edwards jabs looked more forceful than Powar's power punches but he was outworked later on, I couldn't split them so draws fine by me
