Yeah this pretty much establishes Pero as a guy who's just gonna be like a stepping stone for guys that are either on the comeback trail or on the way up or whatever. He's not ever gonna be a serious contender.

Entertaining 12th round. Both guys landing good shots. Pero just fought Miller's fight all night after that 2nd round.

8-4

116-112 Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller is how I have it. I can't imagine it'll be anything other than a UD for him, but you never know.

i hope this ends any illusion of pero being a legit contender, whatever his am background, he simply isnt that good of a pro. i saw him creeping into top 15's and was like wtf

miller despite the win was slower than ever

I'd say this puts Miller back in on the outer edges of the Top 15, and firmly establishes Lenier Pero as a Journeymen/Gatekeeper at best.

117-111 Miller, a lot of punches thrown, fought nearly all on the inside and the ref was never involved yet I never really enjoyed it, pretty much anything thrown from either man was arm punches, no snap at all and it was repetitive, Pero fought the wrong fight, just laid on the ropes most of the night and didn't have the size or volume to match Miller

Miller just kept pushing out the punches to overwhelm Pero, no snap, Pero got home with the occasional sneaky shot but Miller's output was too much and he picked up the rounds without dominating or hurting Pero

Miller threw over 1000 punches, wonder what the testing here was but nah it was pretty shite in all honesty

Just caught he highlights. Looked like Pero started well but then folded to the pressure and allowed Miller to just lean on him against the ropes. His footwork was abysmal and he looked exhausted.

Miller sucks and hopefully Itauma or Gassiev beats him next.

Miller's a fat lad with unlimited stamina. Not suspicious at all.

Dows Miller have a chance of entering our Boxrec top 15 on the back of this?

Need to update the last one yet.

Some people might think so but I don't know about the majority. It might be worth chucking it in with the Dubois Vs Wardley one in two weeks which is guaranteed engagement.

I think in busier periods, like the cards across May, adding a few together could get more people voting. Hrgovic/Allen & Sanchez/Torrez & Usyk could come together in one after that.

Even though Gassiev has the "WBA Regular Belt" I personally would rate Miller ahead of Gassiev off of this win as I don't think that belt means anything, and Gassiev didn't exactly look super impressive getting that win over Pulev whereas Miller has reeled off 2 wins in the last 4 months.

I don't think Gassiev is in the top 15. I think it's Vianello or Wilder at 15
