It's a tune up. It's not supposed to be serious. Anthony Joshua is serious. A tune up shouldn't be serious, especially for a matchup that's been delayed by years already due to setbacks.
oh ya sure, but hysa is not 'decent' at all like you say. hes a 42 year old can crusher who was clowned the only time we know of him facing anyone who can box. fury's last opponent big mak would stop him in 1 round
Fine. Hysa is just practice. That's all he needs to be. He's probably at least as credible as Joshua's opponent Prenga is he not? That's all he has to be. This fight isn't supposed to be important, it's the prelude to something important.
We already know Fury has a big fight lined up after this one. So it doesn't matter that this isn't a big one. It wasn't ever expected to be.
I guess Fury is trying to protect his fight against AJ, by fighting an unbeaten boxer. You know, us lot are far too savvy to not understand the politics of boxing. To the casual Fury is taking on an unbeaten professional boxer.
I can understand the argument if we were wet behind the ears and didn't follow boxing as we do.
For me, as Gilg says it's just a tune up for the biggest none title fight in British boxing history. You know, let's face it, even if Hysa beats Fury, does that mean the Fury v Joshua fight is off? Of course not, but what the win does is sell more tickets and keeps the AJ v Fury an exciting battle before the first bell.
I could understand the grief if Fury was tuning up for a undisputed title fight against this geezer, before the title fight. We could all say, this is not the tune up a ex world champion needs before the biggest fight of his life.
Regardless of this 'tune up' Fury will beat Joshua so it means naff all.
