I'm still very undecided with Reform.
But this country needs a kick up the vagina, and I'm saying that so I'm not sexist.
But the fire is fuelling daily, in fact the fire is burning like Notre Dam
A privately educated, former investment banker who takes millions in bribes from cryptocurrency billionaires, a proven liar who praised the Liz Truss disaster budget, who wants to strip away workers rights and protections and weaken trade unions, who wants to privatise the NHS and send us on a route of public spending cuts that would make Osbourne and Cameron think, 'crikey, that's a bit much'.
I'm not sold on the charlatan either, mate.
He's going to stop the boats, what else do you need to know, Lenny?
Would you rather your wife get her head turned to Swiss cheese by a Sudanese armed with a screwdriver?

Why would we be living in tents?
It would be easy to stop them, remove ourselves from ECHR then have the navy patrol the water. Tow them back to France, shoot them if they resist. Then begin mass deportations. This has to happen, the UK has gone to hell in a handcart.

As a Human it would be a bad Idea to leave the ECHR, police could torture any of us, we could get jailed for saying literally anything etc etc.

I have concerns over immigration, like everyone else.
I have no faith that Farage will do anything about it. He's a charlatan, here to plunder and make his wealth and nothing more. A grifter of the highest order.
I don't think he really believes in half of what he says.
He will not reduce the extremely unlikely attack by an immigrant on my (ex) wife.
He absolutely will make her life, my life, my kids life harder in an absolute cavalcade of different ways.
As much as I think Rupert Lowe would be a lot worse, I do believe he's at least an honest player... Or at least, more honest.

You don't just abandon it, Roy. You replace it with a bill of British citizen's rights. The ECHR is, as it stands, however, no longer fit for purpose. It was devised in different times and under different circumstances. The world has changed, the ECHR is being abused and people are being put in danger.
So, I support what Rick is suggesting. As does Maurice Glasman and other members of 'blue Labour'. It's just common sense, we can't go on like this - and, believe me, things are going to get a whole lot worse without decisive action.

I just don't think Farridge even cares about immigration, hasn't he brought one of the buggers into are country and married her? He's using it to garner votes so him and his crypto pals can fleece the country, i don't see how people cannot see this. I know someone who rent's from a private landlord and claims PIP payments and they are all in on Farridge, genuinely thinks he will improve their life, fcuking mental case.

We already jail folk for hurty words that Starmer doesn't approve of.
We don't need a European court to rule on anything here in the UK, let alone prevent us from securing our own fvcking border

No, he brought two EU nationals over and married them.
He hasn't married the current one, yet.
I think everyone can see it. They just think that Nigel will reduce the number of refugees, and that's more important than anything else.
The numbers are at historic highs due to the Ukrainian and Afghan resettlement programs, so they'll naturally come down now (there's been a sharp decrease this year).
Immigration is coming down after the (predictable) post-brexit spike, and is looking like it may be net zero in the not too distant future.
When the numbers drop further, and nobody feels any better, we'll move to remigration and mass deportation. Rupert Lowe territory.

You don't need to tell me what Farage is, Roy, I know. Logic is out of the window now though. The mainstream parties have effectively destabilised the country and now we have a lot of angry, desperate people looking for something/anything different.
This is why we are where we are now.

Today's the day. I still think Reform will do it because if they cannot win Makerfield - they're not winning the 2029 General Election.
Not that I think a Burnham challlenge is good for the country either, if he ousts Starmer, what is he bringing to the table, this is the guy who quit against Jeremy Corbyn and he will have to contend with that fornicating snake Streeting and his political ambitions.

Anything has to be better than Reform surely, i thought they would win but it looks like restore have taken the vote of the full on racists. I saw a poll that had Labour 48% Reform 41% and Restore 7%. That said there could be some shy reformers like we had with the Tories years back.

Smashed it, it didn't help having a complete fcuk wit as the opposition, you are right though, it's a super strong Reform area and they have been spanked like a ginger step kid

hopefully people are wising up to what Farridge really is. Would have still smashed them if Restore didn't run.

Well, exactly, even if you combine the reform and restore votes - it's still a 6000 vote majority. I would love to see the voting demographics if they are available some time in the future - I think the female vote will have come out in force as well as the youngsters.

I've said it on here a few times, I think Reform peaked a while ago so the result doesn't surprise me.
I'm sure the Burnham factor helped Labour (as did the truly awful Reform candidate) but I think a lot of people are realising that Reform are a one-trick pony inasmuch as immigration is all they've got.
Going forward, I'm sure they'll still get a lot of votes but that doesn't necessarily mean loads of seats (look at the Lib Dems).
Two big by-elections, two seconds. I wouldn't be surprised to see a pattern developing.
