Oleksandr Uysk is not the Heavyweight Champion anymore 'he has vacated all of his titles. Rocky Marciano never vacated any of his titles, and just like Lennox Lewis? At the time of his retirement he was still the Heavyweight Champion'.

Note: I understand that Oleksandr Uysk still has the Lineal Ring Magazine title 'but really? The Lineal title, has not been a real title for many decades. It is a made up title. That in my opinion is just for the look'.

Tyson Fury disappeared after he beat Wladimir Kiltschko 'and he refused to take a rematch. Unfortunately due to his then circumstance'.

Anthony Joshua then stepped up, and beat the version of Wladimir Kiltschko who Tyson Fury should have fought in their scheduled rematch. Fury after that point should not have been considered the Lineal Ring Magazine Heavyweight Champion'.

So the point I am making, yes? Oleksandr Uysk may retire undefeated 'but he will not be the undefeated Heavyweight Champion. He has voluntary vacated his heavyweight titles, and decided not to defend them' etc.

There weren't multiple Title belts that existed that could possibly be vacated back in Marciano's time.

Tyson Fury remained lineal Heavyweight Champion from the moment he beat Wladimir Klitschko until the moment he lost to Oleksandr Usyk, just like George Foreman remained Lineal Champion from the moment he beat Moorer until the moment he lost to Briggs.

You can't strip of a man of the LIneal Title. You can only beat him for it.

Whether you see Usyk as the Heavyweight Champion anymore in his next fight or not doesn't really matter. Many Boxing purists will, and they'll be right.
