Tougher night than expected for Fundora, Hadribeaj was bang up for it, first half of the fight, he couldn't miss with those looping shots from both hands, Fundora tall and upright was taking clean shots repeatedly, Hadribeaj lost his shape in the second half but still kept trying, Fundora might have been better using his jab, keep Hadribeaj at distance and use the ring but he stuck at it, fought up close and began getting his uppercuts off as well as the body shots and got in front, ref was a bit harsh with the deductions but Hadribeaj was doing a lot of barging into Fundora, the ending couldn't have come any later, Fundora hurt Hadribeaj with a left and another put him down, ref couldn't wait to stop it although Hadribeaj probably wouldn't have been able to continue if there was time left, he was cooked

I tip my hat to Hadribeaj for a valiant effort.

From that fight I give edge to boots Ennis if Fundora and Ennis fight in near future.

Referee Thomas Taylor appeared totally biased from his attitude toward Hadribeaj for I thought to quick point deduction from Hdribeaj for holding to the final decision on knock out. The referee wanted to Fundora to get the knock out it appeared to me. I have seen this ref be biased before also. Definitely for A side fighter.

I have seen this in a lot fights lately where the ref appeared to be the promoters safety net in the fight Andy Ruiz vs Polish guy appeared that way with super long count , and schofield vs Bahdi the ref appeared that way or totally incompetent ..oh well its boxing shame to Thomas Taylor.

Mental stoppage. Why call it when the fighter is not in any danger if they beat the count?

It was an ugly fight but if Hadrineaj was clinching, so was Fundura. I think the times he clinched when he was hurt early on were worthy of a deduction but didn't seem excessively bad considering what we've seen before, was dirty boxing with a bit of clinching which is not that out of the ordinary.

I've also seen people complain that Hadribeaj was leading with his head, in that case Fundura was leading with his elbows. These are the problems that can occur when there's such height discrepancy between the boxers.

But under the unified rules, the fighter has not beat the count unless he both is up before 10 AND able to continue regardless of what round it is and how much time is left. Taylor applied the rule correctly. Whether or not the punch landed before the bell is a different story.

Clearly the rule implies that there is some amount of time left when it says "regardless of what round it is and how much time is left". In this case the fight was over when he stopped it, time was no longer kept.
A ridiculous stoppage, robbing Hadribeaj of going the distance.

Who is this coppinger?
The fight was over. It was not a stoppage. Stick your interpretation of the rules up your poo hole

Anyone who defends the stoppage there is wrong. Any other time in the fight I'd say it's a fair stoppage. When the bell has sounded to end the fight. It's an obviously sh*t stoppage.

The referee heard the bell.

I don't think the referee should be fired about it, but he should only work Prelims for a while until he learns how to do his job appropriately.

If its a fair stoppage in any other time why do the rules change just because its the last round? Fundora wore him down eventually and deserved the stoppage. If you dont want a KO loss on your resume dont get knocked out during the fight, even if its the very last second.
