he needs vastly better opposition, it was a needlessly trash fight and it was obvious it would end like it did. no effort from savage - they arent even bringing in game guys who would be outgunned but at least go down with some dignity

ive been high on him too which is why poor opponent after poor opponent is so annoying. he already stopped several guys in the ams who are far better than anyone hes fought pro. hes shown a higher level is easily doable for him.

but then look at his last 3 opponents: savage coming off a one sided loss to brandon moore, 44 year old bowie tupou coming off a ko loss to joe goodall, curtis harper coming off being shutout by roney hines.

why not fight one of moore, goodall, or hines instead? or someone comparable to one of them. he can move up a good few levels and still win easily, but he could at least get in more rounds and have some learning moments

and another wtf opponent - aleem whitfield, a former super middleweight who had 2 fights in the last 9 years

Opelu, vousotu, Kiki, Dempsey, Goodal, huni.. if they were his next 6 home fights and sprinkled between was a brit in Britain, a yank in yanklamd and a miscolanious in Saudi…. A boy can dream right.

Yeah and they roll out this DEANDRE SAVAGE, and like i predicted, it didnt go past the 2nd round, there are a lot better Americans they could have sent over DEONTAE PETTIGREW, PRYCE TAYLOR, JEREMIAH MILTON, BRANDON MOORE, JOHN CANTRELL, SKYLAR LACY all would have probably been beaten but im convinced most would have put up a better effort than SAVAGE.

That's the frustrating part, we're all fairly certain Teremoana has talent and, with his power, could create some noise in the HWT division. There is no doubt he's capable of stopping the fighters he supposed to KO, but, given how he's currently being matched, we may never actually find out just how good he is.

Deontay Wilder didn't fight a live opponent until like his 30th fight. It's not uncommon for managers especially in the Heavyweight division to take the cautious path to prominence.

Itauma: age 21 and is fighting a top ten heavyweight contender for a world title

Teremoana must have some serious weakness, if Hearn is so reluctant to put him in with a live opponent.

I don’t think anyone in Teramoas camp would have had any concerns with fighting Moses entire resume. But Moses is a superstar so can pay opponents superstar money. Sadly not the case for Teramoa.

I also think Teramoa isn’t actualy a world world world class talent. To me feels like a contender but I doubt he is ever top 3… Moses feels like he will be top 3…


I think Teramoa signed with matchroom too early. Should have be with no limits boxing the last couple of years. They are great domestically, few big tszyu undercards…
