Janibek should not have been made mandatory & Sheeraz deserves a much better payday.

I didnt like the way this fight came about, but i was pretty big on it anyway. Hamzahs been so shit since he beat berlanga i was just glad he waz gonna be in a legit fight.

He wants to hope his next move is a big one because his stocks dropping quicker than bonnie blues knickers.

Does he? I'm not so sure. Every time I start liking him he does something to make me change my mind.
Like what, Mr Flump?
Like when he was getting outboxed by Skeete and then he hits him hard when he's on the deck, with the typical A side home cooking from the ref when he shoukd have been DQ'd. Like the bent drawn decision he received when he lost by at least 4 rounds to Adames. Now when he ducks a serious challenge and gives up a world title, like he has the back catalogue of Usyk. He is not somebody I'm exactly rooting for.

Is Sheeraz that much of a draw he can pick and choose ? I think some might be getting reality checks to their actual worth soon

I think he's a typical example of not striking while the iron is hot. His chance to push on was after the berlanga fight. Instead he's treaded water. He's gonna end up been a forgotten man.

I cant see the big fight out there he thinks he is going to get.

Sela and now Zuffa are massively inflating purses for some fighters.

It happens that way, DAZN cash did the same initially, and Top Rank were throwing it around when they signed with ESPN a few years back.

In a sane world a £500k purse for a Janibek fight would seem pretty good.

Definitely, the Wazza interview confirmed it. You never see him at odds with a fighter like that. I don't think Sheeraz would fancy the Janibek fight under any circumstances because he would get schooled. Janibek is one of those guys who is the best in the division but gets avoided even though fighters would become division number 1 if they beat him. Rigondeaux was the same, as was GGG and a few others. Guys would rather just avoid them and let them be champs and look to make money elsewhere.

Pacheco is reportedly fighting Fulghum in mid-November, so it could be Alimkhanuly against Bank for the vacant WBO title.

He’s not afraid of me. He didn’t run from me. He made his decision based on his own plans. He has his own goals! He’s my brother, and I ask everyone to stop saying he ran from me. He’s a great fighter, and I have nothing but respect for him! @sheeraz_hamzah 🫂
