LOL. I doubt Trump has ever been in a church if it didn’t involve cameras filming him. Anyone that thinks Donald is religious, I got some Arctic land that I can sell you to you real cheap. There’s probably oil under it.

Polls, odds, and subscribers, oh my.

Trump had more than twice the # of Instagram subscribers than Kamala Harris. He had almost 4 times more YouTube subscribers than Harris.

Fast forward to 2026. Instagram and other platforms tell a similar story

# of YT Subscribers

Paxton 2,000, Talarico 510,000 TX
Collins 323, Ossoff 207,000 GA
Rogers 593, El-Sayed 138,000 MI
Collins 1,600, Jackson 4,200 ME

Discrepancy shocked me shitless too. :oo Perhaps an enthusiasm gap?

I think the gains Republicans made with the youth vote and the black/latin vote in 2024 are going to swing back HARD this time around. That doesn't mean the House and Senate are both a done deal but Republicans are going to be leaning very hard on turnout from their base this time around.

I've lost lots of respect for Ted Cruz for his attacks on Catholicism and fanatical support for War with Iran, but he really sets the record straight on "Such a Nice Guy Talerico"

Would you say he’s the dumbest smart guy you know? :OhYes:

He’s that or what I truly think he is, a disingenuous fascist douche bag who twists and distorts everything to fit his agenda.

How does an ad paid for by a Republican PAC sum up the Democrats? If that horrible ad sums up anything, it's Vivek Ramaswamy's total lack of decency.

He could have read every book that mentions Ted Cruz. Score 100% on any Ted Cruz quiz, but still be shocked by Ted Cruz. :oo

Very true with trump openly fantasizing about f*cking half of the male candidates from Husted to Mamdani to Paxton. Oh my bad, he did say Paxton wasn't attractive enough for a sex fantasy.

And still roughly half of Texas voters will vote for Paxton.

I think it accurately sums up a large portion of the Democrats running, in the sense they are tired of being abused, by a completely morally bankrupt Republican Party. Honestly, dragging up this hideous women who sided with the man that abused her daughter and paying her to warn people about someone else's character, is about as low as you can go.

The thing is though, who believes this shit. I mean there's probably a bunch of severely intellectually challenged people, real dolts, who believe it. Truly, deep down believe. But what proportion of voters do they make. 5%. 10%. Surely not more. The rest of the people, who say they hate Democrats or make silly claims like Caractacus above, well, they are smart enough to know that how evil such a video is. Yet they approve of it, because it will help their team win. I don't see how any normal average Joe would want the Reps to win, given they've cancelled disability benefits and Food Stamps and many other programs in order to fund tax cuts for the rich. But they do.

The underlying feeling I get from the right is that they hate the left for telling them to behave. To be nice to your fellow man. There's just a huge bunch of people in the US who just want to say "don't tell me what to think and be tolerant, I want to hate them niggas, or gays, or muslims or women or Mexicans or anyone I damn well want to hate". They cloak it all in abortion and "conservative" values, to make it sound reasonable. They don't even care if the characters on their team, the Republican candidates, steal, lie and lead adulterous lives. It doesn't matter, as long as they get to hate. A real sad commentary on how America has changed.

If, and it remains a big if, the republicans take a pouding in the senate and the house, will we finally see the republican party push back and denounce Trump?

Personally I think they are still too afraid of him.

I seriously doubt it. Even guys whose careers he has ended, like Cornyn and Tillis, are still kissing the ring. Most Republicans who have a primary to win before Trump is dead will probably not turn on him.
