no need to be faceatious but i beg to differ that he is fitter than someone who plays squash 3 times a week, football twice and rugby once.

I just wouldn't consider him a class individual personally in any way shape or form.
They can't all be Richie Woodhall. Remember his reaction to getting his hand raised at the end versus Glenn Catley. How many times do you see that? He looked genuinely gutted that they'd given him the decision.

Yes I do remember, that was pretty amazing. I thought Woodhall was going to give him the belt!

He is probably about as fit as me at the moment, The misses has put me on a diet as im about 20-25 kgs over what i was 2 years back and seem to be continuing to rise. Bloody powerlifting has made me eat to much and the last few months ive been lifting lighter weights as my knee recovers and

145kg

is just to heavy.

Yeah ive been doing powerlifting for years and usually compete around 125 kgs. but i injured my knee and havn't been doing heavy squats or deadlift and am still eating 5 times a day plus taking creatine Lglutamine and a few other things that have made me stack on about 20 kgs.

Jesus that's nearly 23 stone!
You must be 90% fatter than most of the blokes that are picking on the porker!
If Hamed wants to get blubbery that's his right. He retired in his 20's without the need to sweat to earn another penny ever
.
When you're in that position it must be very easy to get very lazy; knowing that whatever you might fancy trying (business or leisure) you're never going to be as good as you were in your old job and you don't need to bother anyway.
But this is a bit of a backlash over him stringing people along about repeated comebacks. And that's well deserved if you ask me.

Probably but even at my lightest when i played rugby union at age 20-24 i was always around 110 Kgs 190cm and that was before i really got serious about power lifting and stopped doing a lot of cardio

How do you actually feel then Ben generally? Do you get out of breath running up a flight of stairs? Personally I take cardio exercise pretty seriously and couldn't imagine giving it up like so many seem to. But then I only curl 15kg dumbells so...

I work as a plasterer so im doing cardio all day at work so i don't get tired to easily. Even at 145 i can still jog etc, I do weights 4 times a week and play golf maybe 3 times a fortnight so its not like i do no cardio just not the same as when i was playing rugby and training twice a week and playing every saturday.

Going into promotion J?
I'll stick to a footrace I think, seeing as I'm outweighed by 110 lbs.

Why don't you just cut down on the food and creatine till you can train fully?.

What are you 'raw lifting on the big 3 Ben?
Your right Naz is retired and is average man in the street out of shape. But he would easily knock the spark out the posters who bash him. He will have added some muscle with the fat and when he was at 126 hit as hard as a middleweight.
QUESTION
Who looks worse Ricky Hatton 3-4months before a fight or Hamed there - I'd say its closish. AND you can't tell that much from a pic. Imagine how fat Ricky will look when he hangs them up.

My best at bench is 420 pounds, deadlift 705, squats 715 but in comp i havn't been able to get close to these i don't know if it is nerves or doing them all in 1 day. I have benched 420 in comp squat 670 and deadlift 660 that was good enough for 5th in the state here but i havn't ever taken riods and i think most of my opposition are fully juiced up.

Steer clear of roids as its not worth it, I know some horror stories caused by them that would make you lose 100 pounds!...

Nice total (puts my raw 1200 to shame - then again I could only bench the bar when I started

), maybe the comp problem is just getting the groove right.
What style of powerlifting routines do you use? I could never get the westside style of training to do anything for me - after studying it for hours on end. I like German Volume and low rep HIT (no forced reps)
